My daughters are softball pitchers and needed a practice mat. I am very satisfied with this product. This mat has an amazing anti-slip rubber backing that keeps it securely in place during practice. This is a huge plus as my daughters can practice without worrying about slipping or sliding & on pretty much any type of ground with the same feel as the infield mound. I particularly appreciate the regulation size pitching rubber that comes with the mat which is permanently fixed to the mat - even tho it is black for some reason. It is so nice for them to practice with the thick rubber to get used to the forward tilt and push-off they can get from it. It has center stride arrows to help them practice their strides in a straight line with enhanced push off and power. These features have really improved my daughters' pitching skills and they are able to throw with increased power and accuracy. It rolls up and came with carry straps which is great for taking it to our fields to use before games - the bullpens are pretty torn up and this is a great way to overlay and even out the surface. Overall, I would highly recommend this softball pitching mat to anyone looking for a high-quality product that is both durable and functional.

This isn’t really a hitting mat. It is designed more for pitching. It’s even split in a way that it could be put on a downward slope. That said, the design does allow for hitting. It is especially useful for hitters that step in the bucket or stride and land with their foot near the base. The narrowness of the mat allows them to feel where there foot is landing, so they can adjust. It is a nice quality.

Great accurately sized training mat, I have tried it indoor and outside and it is truly nonslip. Light enough to travel with and greatly improves accuracy in slow and fast pitch games. Quality is amazing considering this is a lower priced product. I was expecting a lower quality turf but it is sturdy and thick.

We have several softball mats for pitching, someplace, pitchersound etc. This one was a tad aller than I was expecting based on the pictures. It makes sense once you use it though due to foot placement. Great training tool.

Cheap quality and too expensive! Don‘t buy it!
