Does exactly as it says it should. Make sure your loop is mostly completely empty or you may have a hard time getting an accurate reading.. but otherwise it works amazing! As expected, thank you!

I used this for pressure testing a system with two radiators, two water blocks, and a reservoir/pump combination and also three drain lines. Something like 30 potential leak spots. Read the instructions before you presume the method of use. It takes less pressure than you might think. First time I put about twice the pressure in the system that I should have, and it held. They say to test the system before it is fitted, but that's not practical really. Anyway, after two months I still have no sign of a leak, so I guess time has confirmed what this showed. It might seem expensive, but the consequences of having a leaking system can be really really expensive.

This tester worked well 6 or 7 times and then developed a leak. I'll end up fixing it.

This pump actually came well-packaged: a stout box and lots of foam padding. However, none of that mattered since the pump was broken on arrival. It’s fairly easy to set up and use, but I felt cool air on my hand near the pump body on my first use. After some testing on a short, closed loop and some sanity checks (I thought it was user error initially), I found an issue with the bottom cap of the pump body. I might have fixed it, but I’m not paying full price for a broken item, which is liable to give me trouble later again.

I see a lot of builders online use one of these and decided to pull the trigger on one. boy am I glad I did. was able to find a leaking fitting before any sort of liquid ever even entered my system. its already paid for itself saving my system

THE GOOD: no air leaks, it handle water going back it in, easy to assemble, love the long rubber line (this is great because other higher products don't have it.). Packing was safe and fast.THE BAD: it doesn't come with a storage place but is no surprise with this price, I don't think is a bad thing but I am gonna say it. It feel a little light weight compared to other brands.IS A GOOD PRODUCT AND I AM SURPRISE THEY DONT SELL IT FOR A HIGHER PRICE.

This proved to be a wonderful little pump for pressure testing the water-cooling loop on a new PC build. I'll offer one thought that made this pump work perfectly for me. Out of the box, the shutoff valve had a VERY slow leak which caused some concern because I initially thought the problem was a leak somewhere in the new cooling loop. Since I had been extraordinarily careful to pre-test and install all the components in the loop, I decided to test the one part of the system I had not tested - the pump, itself. Sure enough, I found the VERY slow leak. I removed the shutoff valve stem and noticed that it was dry. There was zero silicone grease often found on such valves to help with sealing. I gently smeared a very light application of silicone grease (DON'T USE ANY FORM OF PETROLEUM GREASE AS IT WILL DAMAGE/DESTROY THE RUBBER SEAL) on the valve stem where it seals against the rubber seal and retested. VOILA! No more slow leak. My system passed a 24-hour pressure test with zero loss. Some might suggest a 4-star rating might be more appropriate; however, in my opinion, my fix falls more in the category of proper tool maintenance than in the category of a defect. Even if the pump had no leak at all out of the box, over time, this maintenance action would have been necessary to the long-term usefulness of the pump. The design, finish quality, and excellent function of this pump deserve the highest rating.Highly recommended!

Nicely made and easy to use. I was going to drop one star for the instructions, but then I remembered how rubbish my Chinese is.. :)This is how I used it:1. Assemble as shown.2. Open a port in the loop and attach the pump tube to it.3. Open the relief valve about half way.4. Pump slowly to 0.3 bar in to the system. This might vary depending on your products, but EKWB say 0.3 is max for a loop or a distro plate. In my 600ml system this was just a few cycles on the pump.5. Close the relief valve fully.6. Check for any change in pressure. I found no change after 30 mins, slight difference after a couple of hours and about 10% drop over night. This seems very reasonable for being water tight.7. Open the relief valve fully to release remaining pressure.8. Unscrew pump connection from loop and replace the port cap.Feeling hugely reassured, I then filled the system with distilled water, ran my D5 pump at max for 24 hours on an external PSU, with no sign of any leaks. Drained it all off and added my coolant and reassembled the PC.Really is a great help to make sure you are confident before you have water in the system. One thing, as you can see, I asked about the relief valve because I thought mine might be defective. It is not, you have to open it about half way or more to allow air to be pumped in. Makes perfect sense in retrospect obviously.

Good device but can be finiky to use, like making sure it's able to add air and isn't leaking before you can actually use it .

This device is a lifesaver. It means you can properly pressure test your PC custom loop before filling it with coolant and risking a leak. It also means that if you have a leak somewhere, it is much easier to find where.I no longer build (I build custom machines all the time) without using this before filling and running. It is well made, robust, and easy to operate - I can not recommend this highly enough.

Bought this because the EK one broke within a few days. This is still working after a month. Think that basically sums it up.

Easy to fit and test for leaks, the flexible tube allows it to reach awkward spaces, highly recommend
