I DISLIKED EVERYTHING !!! IT IS JUNK !!! I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE IT HAS AN ALTIMITER, THE ALTIMITER SHOWS IN METERS ONLY !!! I SET THE DATE AND TIME, THE DAY CHANGED TO WRONG DAY, TEMPERATURE IS IN °C !!! INSTRUCTIONS ARE HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND HAS TOO MANY DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS !!!

Nice little gadget, but the little foldout brochure didn’t have any instructions on how to set up. Went to video, but she spoke so fast and in heavily accented English that even rewinding several times I still couldn’t figure it out. Finally got the time and date set up, but with the altimeter it was at 700 ft, I’m at 8500 ft, and it can only be changed in 1/10s increments, which would have meant pushing the button tens of thousands of times to get it to the right number, so forget it.

I know very well that this is not a high-end piece of equipment. It's exactly what I wanted...except that it doesn't work. I really wanted a time piece, altimeter, compass,etc in one piece. I am competent with orienteering and use a GPS regularly. I just wanted this little gadget to hang on my pack strap. THe compass worked fairly well. Navigating the thing is a pain. There's very little instruction available for it. I took it out for a hike and it just went crazy. Everything went awry and then it just stopped working. Perhaps I received a bad unit. I will be returning this thing and trying something else. Not worth it.

Disappointing purchase. Screen is difficult to read. Teh compas is a joke. Wouldn't buy.

Can't get consistant altitude readings (my home base at 6000' regularly go to 8000', occasionally 10900) and down to 5000') and can't even get to read in feet (as it says it should be able to) I can convert meters but it is a nusance as all makers here are feet.Disappointed.

Works well. The battery holds up well and is easy to recharge. One point off because the use of the different functions is extremely complicated.

My last such device accidentally found itself at the bottom of a ravine. This one is better. My only small negative is it is not as easy to use as my last one. Otherwise, a great device for hiking.

I read all the horror stories firs, but decided to get it anyway because it was cheap and had all the functions that I wanted (and a few extra that I thought would be nice to have). I was worried at first because I could not initially get it to work, but found out it was due to a faulty USB port on my ebike. Once I attached the USB charger cord properly to the unit and my laptop, it came alive righBear with me, because I'm not the average user for this device. I mainly wanted a bike computer that had the date and time, a compass, could tell the temperature and the like. For all these tasks, this little tool is fantastic. The instructions certainly are in "Engrish" but were not at all hard to follow. Initially setting the clock is pretty standard - hold the upper left-hand button until the weather icon starts the flash, use the right upper and lowt away.er buttons to make changes and the lower left button to proceed to the next feature. Finally hold the upper left-hand button again to get out of the setup. As for features, there are plenty. I wasn't looking for a super accurate altimeter, but it's great to have. The device gives a barometric pressure reading and projects the likely weather for the day. There's a light you can activate by pressing the front button.I can't speak to how good this is as an altimeter, because I don't know much about altimeters. I wanted a bike computer that coulod tell me the date and time, had a working digital compass, and had a light so I could read it at night. I didn't need one with a speedometer or odometer, as these are already features on the computer controller that came with my ebike. As a bike computer, it cost me about half of what I expected to pay and does much more than I expected it to do. That's five stars in my book.

Le schermate sono numerose, perciò bisogna prendere confidenza con lo strumento per utilizzarlo al meglio, ma dopo qualche ora di utilizzo si riesce a gestirlo facilmente. I sensori di misura sono molto sensibili e sembrano anche abbastanza precisi. Utilissimo per gli escursionisti.Nota bene: il simbolo della carica della batteria non è affidabile, passa da tutto carico a completamente scarico (con dati sul display azzerati) senza preavviso. La carica completa dura tre-quattro settimane, ma prima di un'uscita conviene ricaricare lo strumento, per sicurezza.Piccola osservazione: lo strumento è abbastanza semplice ma altre recensioni lo fanno apparire complicato o inattendibile, pertanto ritengo utile riportare di seguito una piccola guida che illustra le caratteristiche e le principali modalità d’uso.Lo strumento è dotato di sensori per la misura della pressione barometrica, della temperatura e dell’umidità; attraverso queste rilevazioni è in grado di indicare i valori istantanei di numerosi parametri, un grafico con l’andamento delle ultime 24 ore e i valori minimi e massimi dei parametri. Attraverso quattro pulsanti laterali si accede alle diverse schermate e si possono impostare o correggere alcuni valori di base necessari per indicare correttamente i valori delle grandezze rilevate (pressione barometrica compensata a livello del mare - “sea” - della località in cui ci si trova, data ed ora, declinazione magnetica, simbolo delle condizioni atmosferiche del momento). In ogni schermata la parte superiore indica sempre le condizioni del cielo (sole, parzialmente nuvoloso, nuvoloso, pioggia) mediante un’icona, oltre alla tendenza in atto (freccia orizzontale, rivolta in alto oppure in basso).Per passare dalla schermata iniziale (“Time data”) alle altre schermate si deve premere il pulsante dedicato (B, C oppure D) e per tornare indietro bisogna premerlo di nuovo; per passare da una schermata dedicata all’altra non è necessario tornare alla schermata iniziale, basta premere il relativo pulsante dedicato. Due ulteriori schermate si raggiungono tenendo premuto il pulsante “B” per più di 3 secondi, questo consente di passare prima alla schermata della temperatura poi a quella dell’umidità e infine di tornare alla schermata iniziale. Nelle varie schermate sono visualizzati i valori istantanei ed in alcune di esse (altitudine, temperatura, umidità), premendo il tasto “A”, i valori delle ultime 24 ore. Dalla schermata “storica” si preme ancora “A” e si torna alla lettura istantanea, poi con “B” si torna alla schermata iniziale.In aggiunta ogni schermata ha sue proprie caratteristiche, ad esempio:Altitudine. Premendo “C” si visualizzano i valori istantanei di temperatura e di altitudine “sea”, più il grafico delle ultime 24 ore; premendo “A si passa alla schermata storica con le modifiche di altitudine delle ultime 9 ore; premendo ancora “A” si torna alla schermata dell’altitudine istantanea. Da questa premendo ancora “C” si torna alla schermata iniziale.Barometro. Dalla schermata iniziale premendo “D” si passa alla schermata della pressione, che indica la pressione compensata “sea”, la pressione barometrica “vera” del luogo in cui ci si trova (che differisce dalla precedente per l’altezza - circa 10 hPa ogni 100 m - ed il grafico delle ultime 24 ore; il tasto “A” non è attivo su questa schermata.Bussola (Compass). La schermata indica sia l’Azimut (gradi e quadrante, tipo SSW) che la direzione del nord (freccia nel cerchio in alto). Talvolta la bussola richiede una taratura, che si effettua semplicemente appoggiando lo strumento su un piano orizzontale e facendolo ruotare lentamente come indicato dalla freccia nel cerchietto in alto; quando il valore dell’Azimut riappare, la bussola è stata ritarata. Il tasto “A” non è attivo su questa schermata, inoltre essa è temporanea e in automatico lo strumento ritorna alla schermata iniziale dopo circa 30 secondi.Il pulsante centrale accende la retroilluminazione per circa 3 secondi, se premuto a lungo accende (e spegne) la lampadina posteriore; la batteria ha una durata di diverse settimane e si ricarica con il cavetto incluso nella confezione (l’inserimento dello spinotto va effettuato con attenzione e decisione, il simbolo della rete va in alto; la prima volta togliere eventuali residui di plastica).Nell'utilizzo corrente ritarare l'altitudine prima di partire (alcuni metri di differenza dal reale) e poi tutto funziona perfettamente.

Good quality for the money spend

Dieses Gerät hat eigentlich tolle Funktionen, leider werden aber "Mondwerte" angezeigt. Nach kurzer Zeit zeigte mein Gerät bei der Luftfeuchtigkeit über längere Zeiträume unveränderliche Werte, mal "20%", mal "1%", mal "40%" bei realen Werten von z.T. über 90%. Jetzt wird seit Wochen konstant "20%" angezeigt. Auch die Höhenangaben wichen von den realen Werten erheblich ab, z. b. bei einer realen Höhe von 3100m wurden 2500m angezeigt. Schade, denn die Grundidee des Gerätes ist eigentlich prima, aber , auch wenn man natürlich keine wissenschaftlich exakten Werte erwarten darf, ist die mir vorliegende Anzeige absolut unzuverlässig und daher äußerst ärgerlich.

Love this little gadget. Very compact and many uses make it well worth the asking price. Use it for fishing and getting the heights of hills when using the radio. Perfect

Ergebnis nach mehreren Monaten Nutzung: das Gerät macht was es soll, ist handlich, der Akku hält sehr lange und lässt sich über den USB-Port aufladen. Ich habe das Gerät nicht im Regen benützt, kann also keine Aussage zur Wasserdichtigkeit treffen. Es gibt bestimmt bessere, aber die kosten um ein vielfaches mehr.Negative Rezensionen über die mangelnde Genauigkeit der Höhenanzeige kann ich nicht bestätigen; man sollte wissen, dass die Höhe über den Luftdruck ermittelt wird; und der ändert sich bekanntlich ja permanent, dieses Phänomen nennt sich Wetter. Negative Bewertungen diesbezüglich entstammen vorwiegend einem Mangel an meteorologischem Wissen und werden dem Gerät nicht gerecht.Voll zu empfehlen; bin sehr zufrieden damit.
