Solid bottom, but not much tread so not a shoe you can run with or hike with much, which isn't a problem if you just want a simple street shoe to walk around in and keep by the door. I love that there are no tie up laces as it's super easy and fast to put on. You can adjust the velcro to keep it tighter as the shoe is very wide, almost too wide, but it's perfect for those wide feet kiddos who have to size up normally if there's not a wide option. So that's a great plus. They look neat and tidy and would go well with nice or casual outfits.

These are so simple but so amazing. My son has worn them every day for two months straight and you can't even tell the shoes have been worn. The material is so stain and water resistant and the fit is so comfortable my son feels confident in all his steps now. I love the new barefoot style they have for kids shoes it's a win all over.

Got these for my 8 year old son. He likes them a lot. He doesn't typically like socks or shoes in general. He says they're comfortable and easy to put on. They look good too, kind of like skater shoes.

My son likes these shoes a lot, and they look just great. They are excellent to wear with pretty much anything, including shorts. The outer sole has a grippy rubber, which is great to prevent slipping, and allows for smooth walks.The fabric is pretty decent, and they look breathable, so they will be excellent for the fall and spring.Also, they have a strap, which is super convenient comparing to laces. The inner sole is pretty decent as well, making these shoes comfortable to wear at the playground and on to school.To note, these are a little wide, so they are not your typical kind of shoes. They are roomy from the sides, and probably not for those with narrow feet.
