A very pretty instrument. Light. Good tuners. Unfortunately, the one they sent me was broken in two places. Rather than deal with the return process, I picked another uke and ordered it. The little soprano is perfect, absolutely love it! Met all the things I require when adding to my collection. High tuning gears, arched back, bone nut and saddle are the top three things most important to me. Until now I've only bought solid wood but I'm impressed with this laminated. I will be looking for more Barcelonas. Only dislike is the strap, it wraps under the body and hooks into the sound hole, just don't like it so it's been replaced. Don't think anyone will be disappointed in this ukulele.

I bought this uke as a spare and a no-worry instrument to use to give lessons on. But i was instantly blown away with the look and feel of it. The abalone and tortoise-shell inlay and edging and the classy B on the headstock are all beautifully done. The sound of the uke is good and the items that come with it are both useful and nice quality. While the action was a bit high, that was easily corrected by swapping out the saddle for a lower rising one I saved from a “retired” knockaround uke. This is easily the best budget-line uke and package deal around. And my order arrived days before it was scheduled. Great deal, great company!

This is a beautiful ukulele. For the price, this sounds bright and beautiful. I do love the light color of the wood too. The tuner tool works great and the wood stand is a bonus. Unfortunately I received a soprano size soft carry bag with it, so it doesn't fit. Amazon said I would have to return the whole thing, but I'm not doing that.

Wood is beautiful and the sound is nice, overall a good uke for the price range.But heads up if you might want to play in a different string arrangement other than the standard "gCEA": the way the strings are attached to the bridge isn’t typical, there are notches that correspond specifically to each string size in the gCEA order. This design probably makes it easier for beginners to restring it (you only have to tie a knot on the end, as opposed to looping it like most ukuleles or nylon-string guitars). But it means you CANNOT change the order of the strings or replace the high-pitched “g” with a low “G”. It’s probably not so important for the average buyer, but if you think you might ever want to change the strings to anything other than “gCEA”, don’t buy this ukulele.Since this item is only sold by Austin Bazaar, WHICH MAKES YOU PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING, this string system should be advertised in the item description. If they update it and notify me, I'll increase the rating.

My order (Barcelona Zebra Wood Concert Ukulele) was misdelivered by FedEx (which unfortunately often happens with them in this part of Texas at least). Of course Amazon listed it as delivered, and since it was from a third-party seller I had to work directly with them. My experiences with third party Amazon sellers in the past were less than stellar, so I was ready for a struggle to get what I ordered.I could not have been more wrong or more delightfully surprised. The staff at Austin Bazaar were courteous, respectful, patient and helpful at every step of the process-even as I first came at them a tad bit angry and belligerent at what I saw another hurdle in a litany of FedEx missteps for me. Austin Bazaar’s professional tone and helpful approach in our messages helped me get a better perspective on the situation and let us quickly resolve it. When it became apparent the package had been delivered to another address and not to me, they swiftly sent out a replacement-which thankfully got to me swiftly and in perfect condition.As for the ukulele itself , for the price it is a gem. I had a ukulele as a youngster, and this is much superior to that one. It seems to have a good tone (I admit my practice on it has been limited at this point.). The additional items like the tuner, bag, strap and stand will be especially helpful in aiding me to pick up the ukulele once again after many years of benign neglect on my part. I am especially happy it came with a tuner as I don’t think my ears are quite as fine-tuned to distinguish the correct note for the strings as they used to be. So this will help me assure the instrument is at least precise-even if my fingering isn’t.Although I order from Amazon quite a bit, I seldom leave reviews, but my experience with this seller spurred me to put my experience on record. So I can enthusiastically recommend both the ukulele and the seller.

Good tuner, gig bag and stand. I got just what I had hoped for in the Uke itself. The figured wood is really cool looking and the binding looks really good as well. The tuners work well and seem to hold tune just fine. This is my first Uke and I don't know about others, but I used to buy/sell high end/vintage guitars and I am quite pleased with what I got for what I paid. Highly recommended.

I mainly bought this ukulele because it looks great in the pictures and the included goodies. DVDs for ukulele and guitar so that’s a bonus. Basic bag that does have a little padding. Wow this uke is even prettier than the online pictures. I already cherish it. Size-wise it’s a bit smaller than my other tenor. Setup seems normal to me. I’m still tuning and breaking in strings so it’s hard to comment definitively on sound. It sounds very good to my ear for a laminate. So above average, consistent, not mind blowing. As I use it more, I might edit this review to talk about the sound more. I really love this uke 😍 wooooooo
