Got this for my Dad's boat for his Mini. The magnets on this are super strong so holds his mini securely even in windy times. It does have a quick release as well to release the Mini or from the boat. Assembly took less than 10 minutes and off on the lake we went. It is fully adjustable to suit any angle and the overall quality of metal and the magnets is well worth the value to secure o a RV or car too. Dad loves it so 5 Stars! Why did you pick this product vs others?:sizeSuction:ExtremeEase of installation:VeryFit:PerfectValue for money:Very good valueBuild quality:ExcellentColor:Black

This mount is SOLID. Build quality is exceptional, and fit into the Starlink Mini is very secure. The locking screws are a nice touch, giving confidence that the mount will never accidentally come separated from the dish.I bought this to use in the back window of my Tesla Model 3. because the rear speaker grille is metal, the magnetic feet stick to the speaker grill! And the overall weight of the mount means the dish stays exactly where you place it and doesn't bounce as you drive. Tip for those few Starlink Mini and Tesla Model 3 owners out there - this is a really tidy setup. One point to note: I feel that the mount should be used with a power lead extension if you intend to leave a power cable pre-routed to your mounting location. I searched for "Female to Male Adapter for Starlink Mini" and found this nice 6" extension which makes quick connect easy.Overall very impressed with this mount! Highly recommend.

Very solid build - the magnetic "feet" install super easy, and the grip of the magnets is really good. I would definitely put some thread lock on the "feet" if you're going to travel with the unit on your vehicle while in motion. I would've liked to see a little more padding on the feet to give me a better feeling that the paint won't get scuffed up.

This mount has proven to be an exceptionally solid and dependable solution for securing my Starlink setup. Its most immediately noticeable characteristic is its robust construction. The metal used in its creation is approximately 1/4 inch thick, giving the mount an impressively heavy-duty feel that inspires a strong sense of durability and longevity. It's clear that this is a product designed to withstand the rigors of frequent use and potentially challenging environments. An unexpected, yet highly welcome, feature of this mount is its dual functionality as a convenient carry handle. When needing to relocate the entire Starlink setup, the mount provides a sturdy and reliable grip point, making the process significantly easier and safer. This eliminates the awkwardness and potential for damage that can arise from attempting to carry the dish and its components separately. The magnetic attachment system employed by this mount is remarkably powerful. The magnets are incredibly strong, creating such a firm bond that detaching the mount from my car required the application of considerable force. Once the mount is securely in place, it exhibits an almost immovable stability, providing unwavering confidence that the Starlink dish will remain firmly attached, even in windy conditions or while driving on rough terrain.A minor consideration to be aware of during the initial setup is the slight obstruction of the Starlink's cable port by the mount's design. It is therefore advisable to connect all necessary cables before inserting the Starlink unit into the mount. While this is a relatively small point to keep in mind during installation and does not pose a significant problem in terms of ongoing use, it's worth noting to avoid any potential frustration during the setup process. In conclusion, this is a meticulously engineered and exceptionally secure mounting solution that I am thoroughly pleased with. It effectively fulfills its intended purpose of providing a stable and reliable platform for the Starlink system, and I would readily and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a robust and dependable mounting option.

This mount works pretty good but the design has a couple of down sides... you need a VERY FLAT roof for it to really allow the magnets to stick down to it. The feet are not really adjustable. Also, when using on the roof of my Ram truck the dishy has to be offset to clear the raised ribs in the roof... OR... I have to slide it really far forward. That's not a big deal but seeing the dish on the roof of the truck not centered is just an OCD thing. If the position of the feet were either wider, narrower or adjustable this would be easy to fix.The provided hex tool makes securing the mount to the dish pretty easy. Tighten the two jam screws to flex the frame and it seems to prevent the mount from releasing from the dish. This mount has a nice little feature that will help prevent the power cable from getting unplugged... it's got a little tab that covers the power socket after you've plugged in the power cable. I like that - nice little design touch.I'd recommend using some sort of LocTite or thread locker on ALL of the hardware. There is not a lot of thread contact and I could see vibrations causing a loosening of the feet and bolts that attach the dish mount to the metal frame. Using a thread locker should help reduce this.
