These are perfect for our toddler with sensitive skin. They are unscented but there is a subtle sweet shea butter smell. We will keep buying!

Strong scent even though it claims to be unscented. Heavily soapy smell along with coconut. I couldn't use it and had to return.

Considered just as a functional soap, this is a very nice mild baby soap. It has a mild and pleasant scent, lathers to a low lather easily, and cleans well, leaving skin feeling refreshed. However, some of the claims on the package copy and the online listing are, to put it gently, stretching the truth. I tested the "tear-free" claim by deliberately getting some suds in my own eyes, and there was some stinging — so the claim seems a bit exaggerated — but it certainly felt gentler than most soaps. The soap is labeled as "coconut and shea butter soap" on the packaging; this is not true, as it's primarily based on palm oil, with both coconut and shea appearing only way down the ingredients list, past all the soap-making components and below even salt, in the place you'd expect supplemental scents or flavors to appear. Furthermore, the ingredients list describes the palm oil which is the soap's actual base as "sustainable," while providing no details on its sourcing or production — and monocultured palm-oil plantations are, in fact, responsible for a huge amount of devastation to forestlands in numerous countries. There's enough truth-stretching and unsourced vague language in the copy to make me very skeptical of the soap's producer's good intentions, but the soap itself is fine to wash with.

My teen daughter has eczema flare-ups and sensitive skin in general. We get her products meant for sensitive skin and often products meant for babies since they're typically a lot more gentle. This 3-pack of bars is much more affordable than the cleansing bars we typically buy, so I decided to order them to see what she thought. The bars are large and it doesn't take much to create a nice lather. We haven't noticed any irritation to her skin since she started using them, which is a huge positive. She said it makes her feel clean and while it doesn't leave her feeling moisturized, it doesn't leave her feeling like her moisture has been stripped away. The bars are unscented but do have a little bit of a smell she doesn't particularly care for. It smells like a baby product - sort of powdery. I don't pick up on it much because it's light, but as a 15-year-old, she doesn't want to smell like powder.I'm pleased with the performance and the fact that it doesn't irritate her skin, I just wish that the scent was something she liked more. This is a good value for a sensitive skin soap.
