If you need heat protection on high-power components, this is great for that.Paint it with high temperature black spray paint and it works even better.

Very well made! Excellent heat sink! I love it! It's definitely big enough to do the job! I will definitely purchase another in the future!

bought this unit to get rid of heat from a 400 amp rectifier.., the holes did not match.. so had to drill and tap new ones... not really sure what this heat sink was for, but the size was great for my purposes..

It is large and the bridge rectifier has a good contact area. Working as expected. It has pre-drilled holes and screws included but for my application I needed to drill other mounting holes. I would buy it again.

Worked great! I combined it with an AC rectifier to convert my AC welder to DC. It's warm, BUT NOT HOT!

It's a lot bigger than it looks in the photos, had to return because it didn't fit where it was needed

Converting my welder to DC using a full-bridge-rectifier (ElectroBoom is always in my head when I say that now) and want to make sure it doesn't overheat. I'm simply going to mount it on the rear of the unit since the voltage used on the little flux core welder isn't enough to do much, as long as you're not working in a wet environment (which you should never do anyway) or it doesn't rub against something metal, although, I'm going to see if I can make a safety cover for it and it won't be an issue. I don't think it will have any trouble keeping the 200 amp rectifier cool, especially since there won't be more than 130 amps (probably 90 amps on average) being used. Should be interesting to see how the welder performs after the conversion!
