I only needed 4 female spade lugs to connect two 12" guitar speakers with the 18G speaker wire I already had. At first, they wouldn't go on the connectors on the speakers. I checked and compared them to the existing lugs and they were indeed the same size/width. But they would not go on. So I put one of the included male connectors into the female lug and worked it around, trying to loosen it up. Then I was able to force it onto the connector on the speaker. I put it on and off several times before it loosened up enough to be easily removable. Then I repeated this process with 3 more female lugs. Then I crimped them to the speaker wire. So I got what I needed, it's working fine, connections are solid. But it took quite a bit of work and effort to get them to fit on the speakers. If I had to use 20+ of them I would not have been happy and probably would have returned them because that would have been too much work. My fingers were already hurting after doing the 4. Speakers are Eminence and Celestion. They're good quality, sturdy, and they weren't listed as being intended for speakers. If you're gonna be using the male & female lugs together, they're perfect. If you just need the female lugs to use on speakers, expect to do some work to get them on.

Usually, when it comes to connectors, I'm very afraid of "off-brand" connectors as they tend to be thin metal, don't crimp correctly, and don't connect firmly. I bought these as they were just so much cheaper than a name brand and with Amazon Prime, I'd get them in a couple of days.I'm pleasantly surprised by these connectors - they crimped onto my 20 gauge wire firmly and make good connection when mated. Very good value. :)
