I don't have any reason to prefer or dislike this item over others. A couple of pluses:They fit the tabs of motor start/run capacitors.The metal is of unknown quality but at least it is non-magnetic.

These worked great for total rewire of 65 El Camino. Instead of having splices at every connector. Connectors can be disassembled and new terminals crimped and installed into factory connectors. Makes for a clean install when combined with heat shrink tube. Highly recommend. Also note, these are 1/4”, headlight connectors are 3/8” so will need those as well for total job, but 98% of dash connections use 1/4” terminals.

When I tried to buy something similar from a national parts store I was told that I would have to wait at least 3 days and the cost would be $16.+ for 10 female connectors that may or may not have been the right ones. These just like the originals that were so commonly used in the USA. Everything from Lawn Tractors to Semi Tractors used these female locking connector that lock inside a electrical harness. I needed them for a 1980s Snapper Lawn Tractor for the wiring harness. These are made in China, but probable the national parts company's are too. Great product.

This terminal was used to repair a wiring harness that had a broken wire at the old terminal. None were available at local auto supply stores and wholesale jobbers do not like working with DIYers. These were available at Amazon and shipped the next day. One down side is that to obtain one terminal one hundred must be bought. The price is very small compared to junking the tractor, as no replacement harness is available for older models. The terminal had to fit into a housing with several other terminals and the lock tab is required to make it work in the connector housing. With two crimps, one for the wire and one for the strain relief it was ready to use and worked perfectly. I now have 99 spares!

These are excellent quality crimp connectors. They mate good & tight with matching connectors and crimp very well when using a double-crimp wire crimper. They look exactly like factory connectors with the insulation crimped inside the large legs. Once attached to the wire, these look exactly like the factory wires that come OEM with aftermarket speakers, Also, just to make sure, I checked these and they are NOT magnetic so I full well believe them to be 100% brass or copper! BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!

Today I needed to connect to a spade stud that was oversized. Normally this circuit takes 240 volt (resistive load), but I am only giving it 120 volt, half the current. I didn't have any 8mm wide crimping disconnects, so I took this one and spread the two side arms by 2mm. Normally this connector is 6.3mm. I use a screw driver to spread it this tiny amount. I put it on the stud and it grabs it beautifully, and strong. There seems to be more flat surface touching the stud for good current transfer. Wow, what a great product!!
