Radio is a classic. The rubber ducks on the newer models are actually decent. This radio gets a job done. What job that is, depends on you.

Hands down best radios for the price. I use them regularly, you can tune them to any frequency you want. I recommend reviewing the settings before running them and watching some videos to help with setup.

We purchased these walkie-talkies specifically for our upcoming cruise with the intention of staying connected with our kids. Unlike previous walkie-talkies we've owned, these ones truly exceeded our expectations. Initially, we were a bit unsure of how they worked, but after just a day of tinkering with them, we quickly grasped their functionality. The fact that they are waterproof is a game-changer for us, especially with kids who adore water activities; knowing that a little splash won't harm the device gives us peace of mind. Moreover, the long-distance capabilities are impressive – being on the 15th floor while our kids are on the 3rd floor was no issue at all, as the connection remained strong. The battery life is also commendable, lasting well over two days without needing a recharge. This feature proved to be incredibly practical for us, allowing us to use the walkie-talkies throughout the day and effortlessly recharge them overnight, ensuring we never experienced any communication downtime. These are a tried and true product and you can't go wrong.I purchased these for my production company so that we can all effectively communicate. And they sound great and get good clarity and even better range.We use these in two way mode, and can easily get 3 to 5 miles of range, batteries will go all day.The included earset fits well and works fine, it's not the highest quality but it certainly does the job.

These are amazing radios for the price and there are lots of accessories available. Great battery life, good sound quality, and inexpensive too.THERE IS PROGRAMMING NECESSARYSome people may find programming/operating these complicated/difficult. These do NOT come ready to go out of the box.
