If it was easy to take back off I would and send it back. Actually if I get some motivation I will do just that. This thing didn't do anything to increase power or torque like it states. This is a lot of money to waste in something that does nothing.

My LB7 has 270k on it, bought used, only thing on it is an AFE air intake. Under full throttle it would blow some smoke out the tailpipe. It was anemic! I couldn't pass anyone without a LONG clear stretch or road!I bought the Big Head as the first stage in a Banks buildup to a 6-gun setup, on a budget. Smoke immediately went away and it seemed more peppy as well as improved MPG (duh... no more smoke). I thought I had it adjusted correctly, even called Banks with some concerns which they said were not warranted.Then I found the programmer and idash 1.8 for sale elsewhere. Installed it and noticed max boost was 13.5! I readjusted the waste gate arm and I'm now getting 21PSI!The point is that the spring in the waste gate needs to be under load to KEEP the gate closed while building boost. I found that if you can see the waste gate bracket flex a little when the gate goes fully CLOSED, you have it adjusted right!I love this controller and my truck is now a rocketship!

Works great. Just make sure to set to manufacturer's spec, and nothing more. I have seen 2 break that i know for a fact were over tightened. Great Product

Increase boost on your Stock Duramax turbo. Better throttle response If more boost is needed might look up P P E valve

The product is good but it wasn't exactly "bolt on". I have a 2003 6.6 liter Duramax LB7 and the new bracket bolted on positioned the actuator about 1/2" to far to the right which required me to drill extra holes into the bracket to try and move the unit 1/2" to the left. The angle of the rod also wasn't perfect which required me to give it a 3-degree bend before it lined up with the wastegate control arm. However, there wasn't enough bracket to drill two holes so now the unit is being held in place by only one (1) fastener. But it lines up perfectly now and functions as designed. The drilling of the new holes also removed the cadmium plating so it will eventually rust. All-in-all, I'm ok with the purchase but wished the new bracket positioned the actuator where is supposed to be.
