Sturdy and so cute! Definitely gives the chicks something to do while in the brooder, which is great. I’ve raised three flocks now and used this for the first time in the brooder. The chicks loved it! Especially to perch to sleep at night once they grew a bit. They loved the mirror right from the start. The swing is a sweet idea but I could never get it to stay tied. I’m buying my second one for an additional flock we’re raising this summer since I let them have it once we moved them outside and it is full of mold now being under a tree for months. So it’s worth me buying another one if that tells you something!

Our little chicks were at first terrified of it. Then after a couple days they liked to perch on it. The swing strings broke quickly but the chicks still enjoyed perching. Only downside is that they outgrew it in less than a month.

Nice solid wood. I was able to use a scrub brush and clean it in the sink once every few days and it looks brand new and ready for the next batch in the Spring. Chicks loved it. Only thing is some chicks used the bars and others slept underneath and got soiled on. But that’s not the products fault. I turned it to stand tall on the side of the stock tank and it worked like a charm until the chicks got too big for it. So kind of cool that you can lay it down or stand it up and brace it depending on growth stage of chicks. I’d recommend and buy another if I get a larger group of chicks next year.

I ordered 2 kits 2 days ago. Parts appear study and good quality. BUT!!........MISSING PARTS in 1 of 2 kits and even more parts were missing from the replacement kit! First, both kits arrived quickly in one oversized shipping box that was not damaged. However both kits were wrapped in thin plastic (appeared manufacturer packaging) and were open and pieces had fallen out loose in the box. One kit was MISSING one of 6 rods/bars and only contained 5 rods. I immediately requested a replacement which arrived quickly the next day. This 3rd kit arrived in a smaller shipping package which was also in tact. However, this 3rd kit afain wrapped in thin plastic packaging was also RIPPED open. The craziest part is the replacement kit only contained 2 of 6 rods! Not even half the parts! I was able to use 1 rod from the replacement for the first kit to make a complete set, but that only leaves 1 rod with the kit that has to be returned.The kit (that contained all parts) was EASY TO INSTALL and surprisingly my chicks actually did start climbing on it even sat on the swing and pecked at the mirror. Seems to be a hit in one day. Parts appear STURDY and not cheap except for the plastic wrap manufacturer packaging.Lack of quality control from Amazon or seller twice. Otherwise appears to be good product IF you can get all the parts.

This is a great addition to my brooder setup. As the chicks grow, they start loving the mirror at about 1 weeks old, and around 2 weeks old they start using the tiny roosting bars. At 4 weeks old, this is where they hang out in there brooder - on the bars. It's a great size for the growing babies. Once they're big enough to go outside in the coop, it will be way too small for them, but in a brooder as they're in their first few weeks, it's perfect!

Chicks love this and still sleep on it in the bigger coop.the swing got pulled off immediately, but the rest is sturdy and they love it
