I am in love with this cutting board. I’ve been trying to steer away from using plastic ones due to the health risks associated. The only wooden one I had was small and unconditioned so it began cracking and warping. This board is huge I’m going to enjoy using it for cooking very much! I did have to purchase a food grade mineral oil to condition the board, it doesn’t come already conditioned. I’m still in the oiling phase as I wanted to do 3 coats spread out over 3 days so the board could really absorb it and it will be even more durable, and better looking. I can’t stand a dry cutting board they make me imagine splinters all throughout my food. This cutting board will be my first of many bamboo made ones to come, after the first coating of oil it already looks beautiful! I highly recommend and for the price you can’t beat it

Of the similarly sized and priced bamboo boards, this one is the absolute best deal. I went for one other to compare the two, and this one is thicker and sturdier, and maybe a tad larger in surface area. I was between this an finishing off some plywood. These boards won on price, lack of hassle and generally not having to take on any more DIY work just to have boards for DIY jobs. When the coupon brings the 18" x 12" to $11, I think this last one was maybe the 3rd or 4th one that I have gone for. If you try to buy multiples during the sale the discount never applies properly, so there may be one or two more sales on these before I'm topped off.

I have 2 cutting boards. They are both bamboo. They are both 8 years old and still in great shape.Unfortunately I dropped one and it broke in two.This replacement was identical to my original and looks great.

This is a great heavy duty cutting board. It’s the perfect size and seems to be extremely adorable. Make sure you oil it down and it should last a long time.

It’s a cutting board. It has 2 sides. I’ve actually used them “serving” side for cheese, pate and crackers. No issues.Cleans well, no leftover odours.

Product is well constructed and useable right away. I would recommend a light coat of mineral oil to treat and preserve the board. The compartments are a good size and come in handy to use for cheese slices if using a variety or add other items on the side such as crackers. This can be used to cut vegetables or meats as well so it is not limited to your use. If you decide have two boards you do not have to be concerned with cross contamination as the board is at a reasonable price. In my case this was a supplemental board that I use for other than meat and poultry cuts.
