I've been needing a binding cradle for ages - it's possible to punch without one but it's really a life and time saver. The design is also very cute.

I have been making handmade books for the past few years and so enjoying doing this. I wanted to get another wooden cradle for punching holes as I keep having friends ask me how to do this and its easier if I have more than one when I'm demonstrating. I love the etching on this - not only is it beautiful and would make a great gift (it's even package beautifully - don't throw out the paper it comes in - you can even use that for your first books as a creative cover)! But also the holes are numbered which is a huge help when selecting spacing for your signatures and cover. The bottom slides off and gives you space to keep an awl, thread needles and the bone press for paper. The wood pencil is a classy addition and also fits in there.

Great starter book binding tool. I've been attempting to bind my own books for a while and though it works, they look terrible. This has really upped my book binding game. My workbooks are starting to look more professionally done. It's pretty easy to get started and self explanatory. However there are a lot of great videos on YouTube to help you get started. I'm happy with this tool.

The item is very sturdy, beautifully made, works very accurately. Love the added touches. Inspiring! The only problem was the bottom storage lid was near impossible to open. At first I thought they forgot to include. I finally got it to slide open. I noticed it was a bit rough where the track to slide it is. I sanded it a bit to smooth and waxed it. Works beautifully now. I still give it a five because I love artistic inspiration. 😊
