These calipers are somewhere between acceptable and mostly good quality.They accurately measure millimeters. Their is some play and wiggle from the pivot screw. They probably have something around 1/64" wiggle to each measurement. Small, but noticeable.The tips themselves are also not symmetrical, although this doesn't really matter as you're only using the inner surfaces of the tips for measurement.The overall size of these calipers is smaller than expected. They're a little difficult to hold in hand because of their small size. I guess their small size makes them easy to carry in a pocket.If they were less expensive, I wouldn't have any complaints.

I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years, and this caliper reminds me of a caliper we used in eye surgery. I tested it at home with my micrometer and from what I can tell it is pretty darn accurate.The build quality is very good, and Does not appear that it would wear out easily with repeated use. The quality of the steel is also very good, and I don’t think it would rust or bend easily even being a more delicate looking device. So, I would definitely recommend checking this product out!
