Tricky to close, eventually figured out to press around “bumps” not on them. Easy to view dessert inside. Problem was as I finished packing my dessert I found out I had received only 18 instead of 25 containers.

We have purchased clamshell containers for bake sales for decades; our prior source dried up and we purchased these on Amazon. We noticed that several did not lock shut but instead relentlessly flipped open and we had to use rubber bands to keep them closed. We assumed it was just an anomaly and let it pass; but now we have had another big sale and have used more than a handful and fully 2/3 of the entire lot have this problem; they are, simply, mis manufactured, and subject to what amounts to zero quality control. Avoid this manufacturer and seller and seek other versions of similar container.

I use these for my roadside bakery/ farm box and they keep the cupcakes very fresh because they seal really well. They are the perfect size and even have these little "indents" inside that help to prevent smearing of the frosting when you remove the cupcake to eat it, so that's make sit super easy for the customer to use. They aren't flimsy and are thick and sturdy. You get lots of them at a good value, which is perfect if you're just starting out as a bakery business.
