Once you get the hang of snapping the basket in place and locking the handle, it's pretty easy to use and saves your back from all the bending over. You have to corral the balls up against the wall or immovable object so they won't keep coming out of the net! Fun for the kids to use also.

We have a corgi puppy who loves nothing more than to kick all the balls out of his ball pit. I was breaking my back picking these up and then I found this thing. It unfolds from a compact size, quickly snaps into place, and the front leading edge is flexible to allow it to grab underneath balls and small toys. Now it is only a few minutes work to gather all the balls and toys that he's knocked out just so he can start all over again. Good quality, works for all balls.

This thing is amazing. I never knew I would need one. It makes it SO easy to pick up the balls from the ball pit. If you have a kid and a ball pit, and are tired of bending over to pick up hundreds of balls one-by-one, I highly recommend this!

I didn't know how much I needed this thing. I didn't even know such a thing existed actually. But boy am I happy I came across it. When my daughter turned 1, I decided to get her a ball pit and balls for her birthday and little did I know just how many balls it would take to fill up the pit I got her. It actually took twice as many as it would've with normal sized balls because the macaroon colors I wanted only came in a much smaller size and I wanted to fill it up at least halfway. So, by the end of it all I ended up with 900 balls. I was amazed at how 100 balls in the pit really only looked like maybe 40 at best. I really did not know what I was getting myself into. Now my daughter is going to be 4 in a few months, and I now have an almost 1 year old son who, like my daughter, loves to play in the ball pit. Every time they get in it though I end up with half of the balls in the floor all over the room and they take FOREVER and a sore back to pick up. This "ball pit shovel" has seriously changed the game for me. Now I don't have to bend over and pick up hundreds of balls. I used to use containers to shovel them back in, but I was still on all fours in the floor. This device keeps me standing and all I have to do is slide it around on the floor and it picks them up for me.It's super easy to set up and use. You simply pull the telescopic pole out to the desired length, tighten the piece holding it in place and then pop the netting bars up into place. This takes seconds and you're ready to go. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. The net is a good size, so it holds a lot of regular size balls. So, if you have the smaller sized balls like me, then it holds double that. This is perfect for me because I now can very easily scoop up the ball mess and I get it done in fewer trips back to the pit. This thing really is perfect. And at the current price of 10 bucks, you really can't beat it. I only wish I had known about this years ago and saved myself many sore backs!
