This pad is no more that 2 inches thick. There is a zipper compartment that can be used to stuff something in. It is a terrible product. Perhaps they forgot to fill on side of it. It does not deserve one star.

It didn't work for me as a quick mobile seat. It squished and was unstable meaning I would roll off the edge. Unfolded it's quite large to use in small places like between the rows in a garden. I haven't found a use for this yet. It might be good for a small child to nap on or sit on.

A 68-year old, 200 lb man can kneel on this comfortably. A 68-year old, 200 lb man will slip off and fall to the floor if he tries to use it as a stool. As a kneeler it is pretty nice, but it takes up a good amount of space. Is it so much more comfortable than a regular dense memory foam kneeler that it is worth dedicating the space? That is up to you and your patellas to decide. It is made of decent material and folds/unfolds nicely.

My back doesn’t like my leaning over to pull weeds, so I though this garden pad might work well. It did not.I admit that I’m overweight at 170 pounds. When I first tried to sit on this pad, I slid right off (luckily I was still inside). The pad went from being 12” tall to a little over 6” when I successfully sat on it. This really was too low for me to comfortably use. I saw similar results when kneeling. When I put a 25 pound weight on it (see photo), it compressed down by 2”. I don’t know how they got photos with people that show that it doesn’t compress down in size with weight, especially the photo with the woman sitting on it--unless they faked the pictures.The pad has 2 sides, and I think the bumpy side is supposed to be on the ground. Water beads on both sides of the pad, so I confirmed that it is water proof. It came horribly wrinkled (see photo) and none of the zippers were closed. The zippers worked but are not high quality. It is supposed to be machine washable on the gentle cycle, which is good if it is used outside.If anything, I may use this for kneeling while gardening, but I prefer sitting. Since the Amazon web page says it uses 3” of “support foam”, I wish that foam was stiffer and actually provided support.

This worked great for me! I had read that one person had a problem with it never rising and realized it was probably due to that it is memory foam. Since it is memory foam you need to open up ALL zippers and allow the memory foam to rise for 3 days. We did that and all the pads rose to 4 inches. It would have been nice if there was instructions for people that are not familiar with memory foam. The foam is thick and since this kneeling pad can be folding up it is very convenient.

Sitting on the pads and having them not flatten is a little unrealistic in their photo unless that model in the photo is very very light.This mat is just so nice to have....some things to consider though:Pros:+ Definitely extra thick and comfy. I use it to knees while doing DIY jobs around the house and it stays puffy for hours;+ It is definitely foldable;+ I have gotten it wet with no ill effects (water resistant);Cons:- all that comfey thickness comes with a price. It is a pain to carry around. I hate having to carry my tools and materials and then have to go back just to get the pad! I've tried clipping it to my pack with carabiners but it's so darn big it bumps into everything.I don't know how you get around the size of it considering how darn comfey it is...it's a trade-off for sure. Just be aware of its size....you are not slipping this in your pocket or backpack.
