Soft snuggly kitty bed.The bed comes compressed in plastic. It expands pretty quickly and its “ hood” stands up without being floppy or droopy (just as shown in provided photos).By some miraculous “ cat-intuition- magic”, my cat knew that the thing was for her, and was in it as soon as it hit the floor.How do cats do that ?!She already has a large, more house-like place to hide away completely, but it’s pretty hard to clean. I wanted something that can be washed. I’m hoping this will be ‘the one’ that’s just perfect. It will be if it washes well and keeps its shape. I will add to this review when I try to wash it.

I got one for the one cat we had at the time and then shortly after another one came running up to our house and chose us so I got another… they’re phenomenal! Warm and soft and smushy with a solid grippy pad on the bottom (our new kitty loves to lay on top of stuff on the top shelves so I put hers up in one of those spots and it’s hard to get her down from there sometimes!)

I don't understand why my cat won't use it. The cave top stands up, nicely, unlike another one I bought last May. However, the inner length is what I should have been thinking of when I ordered this size. I think I did order the largest size, but I will choose another one, if I can return this. She loves to get under sheets to play, so I would think fear is not the issue. Space is an issue, since she is extra long for a grown cat. Fully stretched out she's 27 ". When choosing her bed, I want to consider this and match the inner length to at least 25". Beautiful color, very nice bed!

Well made dome bed for 10 pound dachshund, retains it's shape, have not washed yet but looks like it will hold up, soft to touch

I haven't gotten my kitten yet, but this is a definate keeper. It is sturdy & the interior insert is SO soft. My cat will get quite large and this bed will be perfect for him, even as an adult. The blue/gray color is subtle and classy! Definite Five Star product.

She's shy and a bit out of her element and this bed allows her the freedom to "hide" a bit. We got the larger one and she's only 8 lbs so the smaller would have been too small. Got the blue, it looks gray-blue and we are very pleased with the quality. Happy we bought it. edit with photo & : Now that she has been with us for 3 weeks she doesn't need/use it . It's staying! I'm sure it will become part of her rotation. Wish they made them human sized...

my cat is way too big for this thing lol. It’s great quality, soft, etc but unless you have a kitten or a very small adult cat, it’s not going to work

Update: Sleeping area (inside): 15”x17”My dog likes to stretch out when sleeping. It’s too small for her & eventually abandoned it after 30 min. I love it thought.————————————————————-Well made, soft & warm. Looks great & match my 17lb. black poodle mix. She goes right in with no hesitation with her lamb-chop.
