It works great and very easy to clean. i have been wanting one for sometime but I would always talk myself out of buying one, because i did not know how I would like it. I'm really glad that I got me one. the only thing that I wished is that it had deeper pockets that way you could put more stuff because I was only able to put little bit of chicken and cheese and i must have put to much because i was not able to close it all the way. it will just take me a little it and figure out the right amount portion

The concept is amazing and they do make the tortilla perfect. I would give 5 stars but there are a few things that need to be updated. They are not designed to hold more than just cheese. The way it is shaped is deceptive that you could add alot of filling with the cheese. But I did and it all came out the sides. The maker is not able to close properly with more than cheese. Although it does make a perfect cheese crisp. One thing to note is the handle gets extremely hot. You can burn your hand easily trying to close or open it. I burn mine everytime I use it. So would not recommend for a child or even teen to use it, even if they are supervised. The heat makes it unsafe.

Best gift for a mother of three little boys. It takes less time to make enough for every boy to eat at the same time. So helpful for her.

I don’t know why I waited so long to buy one of these! I love quesadillas and I kept trying to make them in a pan on the stovetop, which always made a mess and my quesadillas were ugly! Now that I finally broke down and bought myself a quesadilla maker, I make them all the time and they are perfect every time! I have learned though, that a whole one is usually too much for me to eat, so I’ll make a half which is just as easy. You put down the bottom tortilla, put your ingredients down on one side, then use a fork or knife to lift up the side without ingredients and fold it over. Make sure to line it up with the grooves and lines in the maker so your half quesadilla will be perfect. Then close it and wait for the light to turn green letting you know that it’s finished cooking! I usually check it when the light turns green and then give it another minute to make it the perfect golden brown. SO EASY!! Then use a fork or knife to lift it up and scoop it onto your plate. I don’t use my fingers because the maker is hot. For my favorite quesadillas, I usually put in the pre-cooked Southwestern style chicken that you can buy in the grocery store, some jalapeños, and the Mexican cheese mix by Kraft, and that’s it! You can make them pretty thick as you can see from my photos. After it’s done cooking, I top it with sour cream and Chili’s brand restaurant style salsa in medium. My quesadillas are DELICIOUS!! Clean-up is a breeze too. Just wipe it down with a damp cloth and you’re done. This little quesadilla maker is such a great value for the money! You can make much more than just quesadillas with it. Be creative and make what you want! My daughter makes pizzas in it.

The first time I used the product, after heating up it started making a clicking / sparking sound. I unplugged the waffle maker and gave it time to cool down. When I plugged it back in, it didn't work anymore.
