I wanted a cushion on my metal kitchen stool and this works really well. It's a little thinner than I expected but that's OK. It looks good, fits perfectly and stays in place. It has little gripper dots on the bottom and two straps with velcro. I was afraid it would slip around but it's not going anywhere. It's very securely placed.

It was hard to find new pads for stools I love, and just the cushions grew ragged from a lot of use...this fit almost perfectly; most available are too big..and it is comfortable, . It's just that the velcro fastening. The way it works is easy however, pending on how your sitting, bc some of the edges on the velcro are rough (hard to explain), you can ruin pants or stockings you might be wearing....there needed to be a little more thought but again, was hard to find the size i needed. And surprisingly, i needed black and so many were light colored or patterned which surprised me and have the strings to attach. the velcro i think is a bit sturdier but only on for a few days right now.

I had 4 barstools that at first were difficult to find the right size cushion for. I had sewn my own, but the color became dated. These cushions are wonderful. They fit nice and tight with the velcro type connectors, so they stay in place. The cushioning is comfortable to sit on without being too bulky. The construction is sturdy and the design is very nice.

Recently I added a standing desk to my living room/home theater and its great but after an 1.5hrs or so I need to sit down. I looked into getting a tall stool or chair but I have this old metal table around 30" high and its all metal, very sturdy. I decided to try sitting on the table and it was a surprise how nice it felt, only thing is, it is a table. This one fit the specs perfectly and to be on the safe side I asked a few questions about this cushion. #1 Is the foam inside relatively firm? #2 Does the fabric fit over the cushion tightly? Almost immediately I got several answers, all YES across the board. Well I bought one and the cushion just turned a table into a legitimate stool. Thanks fellow Amazon shoppers! I appreciate it!(In my pictures you can see just how well this cushion and straps fit on my new stool, it looks like it was made this way. SMILES)

Took a while to come, but it fits exactly to size of my stools and are comfortable to sit on. Velcro straps and non-slip mat help tonnes! Doesn't come off the stool.

I wasn't sure if this cushion would meet my needs, so I took a chance ordering it, and I'm so glad I did! I'm actually using it on a milk crate that I use to sit on to clean out my litter box, and it fit perfectly. The crate was so uncomfortable, but this cushion is alot softer than I thought it would be, and at the same time, it's just slightly firm enough to where I don't feel the hard plastic diagonal design of the milk crate under my tush. The cats think it's soft enough to lay on too. And the Velcro straps are long enough to fit together if the thing you're strapping it to is thicker than 2 inches (which is the length from the edge of the milk crate to the first hole I could pull the strap through.) I no longer dread cleaning the litter box. To me, it was definitely worth the $16.
