This was a splurge for my backyard and I’m happy with the end product! Right out of the boxes, the smooth wood planks and smell of cedar told me this was a good quality purchase. I stained all the wood before assembly and ended up hiring a handyman duo to put it together—they didn’t have any trouble since there are good instructions (on app and on paper) and the pieces are labeled. The hardest part was digging and pouring concrete footings into rocky/clay soil, which we did for extra stability.

This kit is well made and come with an assembly video. There are a lot of pieces! You need to be organized and parts of assembly takes two people. The results are worth the effort. The pergola is sturdy and attractive. I love that it fills in an ugly corner in my yard. A winner- don't hesitate to buy!

We paid someone to assemble and install this pergola. He said it was very easy - the parts were well labeled and fit together perfectly. He also said these types of projects almost always required modifications to get the parts to fit but this pergola didn't require any of that. Very happy with the purchase and installation.

The gazebo fits perfect in the corner of my pool deck! The quality is very good, along with the price. Assembly was pretty easy as long as there are two people.

Never bought a kit before but chanced it anyway. It was delivered in a truck and all of 500+ pounds. Or it seemed. I was worried that it appeared more complex than I imagined. There were a smartphone app for assembly instructions and a booklet. I ended up using the booklet, which was very precise and complete with detailed diagrams. Surprisingly perhaps, as usually instruction booklet is written by an intern or some lackey in the shop. Took about 4 days (not full days) for me to assemble everything. Very happy with the results.

It is very pretty but if you live in a windy area, this is not ideal. The footings are cheap makeOf plastic and even if screwed to ground it can fly/tip. Mine tipped on a very windy day.It also is a bit wobbly.

We’re very happy with the cabana! The assembly was pretty straightforward though it took us longer than the 8 hours the instructions said. All the wood pieces were solid, no warping, splintering, etc. The manufacturer recommends sealing the wood, which we opted to do before assembling; it made the process a little longer, but I would do it that way again. The seating is comfortable and we’ve really enjoyed the addition to our backyard.
