I love the look of it, the ease of emptying entire cooler from drain after a party, very accessible by all and kept everything cold. Great product

First off, reading reviews here where folks say it takes days to assemble is pure hogwash. The directions are laid out page by page with all the hardware and parts numbered. They could do better marking the wood pieces, but they are marked. They even give extra hardware. Get a power drill/driver and have at it. 2 hours MAX.Second after an hour and a half my wife and I got to the last piece, the top. It comes pre-assembled with the shocks and hinges already on. When we opened it up we saw the one frame piece was severely cracked. Called customer support the next day and explained to the nice lady what was wrong and in 5 days got the exact piece delivered. Had it together in 10 minutes. The cooler comes with a nice cover to keep the weather off. It seems very well built. No theblid isn't insulated so it won't keep ice "for days" but I'm guessing if we ice up at noon it will last well into the night or next day.

Had been looking for a wooden cooler that would match the teak outdoor furniture for a while. I am really happy with this one - it looks really good and feels like great quality, it’s Acacia wood which should resist the weather nicely, just like teak, and it was not too complicated to assemble. That said, if you cringe looking at many parts and screws, perhaps this is not for you. On the other hand, if played with Lego as a kid, you’re going to be fine. In fact, I felt the instructions couldn’t be better written. Lastly, the cover feels quite strong and should be able to last.

Just finished putting it together and took about 3 hours but it went by quickly. Read a lot of reviews on difficulty assembling it. Lifetime of fabrication building from drawings probably helped me. The product itself in my opinion is very well designed and I am very impressed with the final product. Beautiful wood and a very hard wood. I would be very careful of over torquing if you have a cordless driver that you will be using. This should last me a very long time right next to the smoker and grill. Will be using the top as my landing spot for meat coming and going. Very impressive that it came with a very nice form fitting cover. All things considered I am 100% happy.Just follow the instructions step by step but first layout all hardware and have at least a 3x3 bench to work on. Get familiar with everything and the only tool that is not provided is a cordless driver. Glad to see quality products come out of Vietnam.

It was easy to put together, but the instructions could have been better written and the markings on most of the parts were smudged, making them unreadable. Once it was together, it is a nice cooler! Looks wonder on my deck. The only other gripe I have about it is the lid. The triangle blocks that the pneumatic rods are attached to came loose from the lid after only a few uses. Some wood glue took care of that problem. Would I buy it again? I don't know. It does keep drinks cold for up to 8 hours.

Hubby (read: "handyman") writing this... Amazon reviews made assembly sound awful; one guy complained it took him "days" to build. Wifey (um, I mean Birthing Person Life Partner) really wanted this, and asked repeatedly if I'd "be ok putting it together, as difficult as it was". True to my gender, I'm not one to back away from a challenge. I have a secret weapon though (don't tell!): POWER TOOLS. Yep, an unfair advantage. For starters, I am a former technical publication writer, and have to say the manual provided is top notch. Written in (correct) English, and plainly illustrated, with none of the cartoon figures you see from Ikea. The wood is "Acacia", and while unfamiliar if you don't live in Viet Nam, it's harder than oak or hickory, and while these boards are not perfectly sanded, it's just fine for patio furniture. Every hole lined up perfectly, BUT... it IS possible to flip boards around and have some holes align, while others are off. Don't be tempted to re-drill your own holes. Flip the board instead. The assembly hardware is also good. Probably the best casters I've seen on assembled furniture. Surprising was that you get so much EXTRA hardware (the photo shows all I had left over). Guessing that this is a standard pack used for a number of different types of furniture sold by the manufacturer. The only tools you'll need are shown in the photo. The knife is to open all the plastic bags. Throw away their (provided) "L" shaped Torx tool (its size T30) and use your own Torx bit on a power screwdriver. Trust me on this. If you don't have one, go buy one first. There are a few holes called for to be drilled with a 1/8" bit, but I found this to be too large for the screws, and allowed some to spin. Recommend a smaller bit, say 7/64. One nice feature is that the insulated liner has a drain cap underneath so you need not tip it to empty melted ice (see pic). Given wifey's warnings about the difficult assembly, I found a comfortable setting, poured some green tea (really!), put on some nice music from the 1980's, and took my time. 2 hours, and done, with lots of breaks. Not scary at all. Don't let wifey know how easy it was; maybe she'll reward you with that "special" gift you only get on your birthday (hoping...)

Very happy with the quality and sturdiness of this cooler. It was a process to put together but nothing too difficult. I was unsure about the lining but I had been holding up well and has kept drinks cold for days. Draining the water from the bottom is convenient but still messy unless it’s drained into a tub or something.

I spent about 30 min taking every piece, not, screw, bolt, washer out of the box and organizing. Then, another 15 min trying to make sense of the instructions. I then downloaded the recommended app that was supposed to provide a 3D quick assembly video but my exact model was nowhere to be found. This may be a wonderful outdoor cooler (I don’t know yet) but it is a nightmare to assemble.
