This mouthpiece was just what I was looking for. I will be keeping it but the silver playing on the inside cup was polished poorly yielding a matte surface. Not like my other Bach mouthpieces so this one seemed to be sub par in appearance.

Great price for a Vincent Bach mouthpiece. Great for a tenor player having a stint on Bass.

I have been using a Rath B1 1/4W and like it very much but it produces a darker sound (very nice for symphony work) but I wanted something that would take a little less air but still produce a solid sound. The 2G has surprised me in that it definitely takes less air, but produces a nice cutting "George Roberts" sound. Now if I could just manage to master his technique................2olbones
