I’ve been using the Babyganics SPF 50 Mineral-Based Baby Sunscreen for my toddler, and overall, I’m pleased with its performance. It provides reliable sun protection, and I feel confident knowing it’s mineral-based and designed for sensitive skin.Effective Sun Protection and Gentle on SkinThis sunscreen has done a great job shielding my little one from the sun. With SPF 50, it provides solid coverage, and I appreciate that it’s formulated without harsh chemicals, which is essential for baby’s delicate skin.Minor Issue: Thick and Hard to ApplyThe only downside is that the formula is a bit thick and can be tricky to spread evenly on my child’s skin. It takes a little extra effort to apply, but with some patience, it blends in well. I’d recommend applying it in small amounts to make the process easier.Final ThoughtsDespite the slightly thick consistency, Babyganics SPF 50 is a great choice for parents looking for effective, mineral-based sun protection. It’s gentle, effective, and has become a go-to in our summer routine.

Used as an adult while I spent most daylight hours out in the tropical sun, sweating. Absolutely protected me from burns and very minimal tan. I normally tan very easily, but this is my go to.

Love this organic baby sun screen. Have used several times on my 4 month old and have yet to have any issues!

This is my go-to sunscreen for my kids. As babies and now that they are a little older too. I use it on my face and chest too.I have a redhead, and the rest of us must have recessive red hair genes because we are the whitest is white. (Okay, not as white as my red head. She’s the whitest of white. I can tan a little and so can my son without red hair. But you get the idea. All of us have blue eyes. Anyway...)Anyway. This isn’t super greasy going on. It stays on. It does its job and no one has gotten a sunburn wearing it. I wear it too, without ever breaking out. So bottom line. This is great.

I hate the idea of loading my son up with chemical sunscreens but I love the protection this one gives. We took this to the beach, with being in the sand and water we didnt even need to reapply and didnt once get sunburnt.

LOVE IT! great lotion. I’m dark tone so hard to tell if it’s protective. My chest is light color and it doesn’t discolor in sun so I’m thinking this is an effective product.

I love this sunblock for both my son and myself. I keep a bottle in his diaper bag because we live in Florida and it's hard to get away from the sun. It goes on pretty thick so it takes a minute to rub into my sons skin but he is 2 and we have been using it since he was 3 months old and so far we haven't had a sunburn so far so I will continue use it.

I feel better knowing that this sunscreen isn't on the "danger" list when I use it on my toddler. However, I find there's usually a tradeoff for using an organic or natural product - this feels different than rubbing in standard sunscreen (Coppertone, Banana Boat, etc.) and I felt like I needed to use a lot more and rub it a lot more in order to get her completely covered. And there's nothing worse than it taking three times as long to apply sunscreen to a wiggly toddler who doesn't want it on anyway. Once it was finally on, it did the job. No sunburn here.I do really like that it is tear free because, again, wiggly toddler + sunscreen on the face = sunscreen in the eyes = massive tantrum (and feeling guilty as a mom) before you can finish applying it.Make sure that you read the product description as it is a small tube for the price. I think it all comes down to personal preference and I'm not sure that it is worthwhile to spend the money, and the time, to get this sunscreen on my daughter. I doubt I will buy again when it runs out - I want to try some other brands to see if I can find something better and easier to use. I will finish the tube and update the review if my opinions change but I don't foresee that happening or the tube lasting very long.
