This is pretty cool! All other soothers that we've had have been hard plastic, so as they drop or hit a surface, it stands to assume it damages it quicker and shortens it's life span. This one is encased in a pillow that's non removable. The charging port is slightly tricky to get to. You also can't utilize the unit while charging. So far it has a long working span on one charge. It also uses a C cable. I will say that even on the strongest setting it's not as strong as other hard plastic soothers we've had. Which is possible a good thing, who knows. Simple design, seems sturdy enough. I like it.

I've been using it for a few weeks now and it has really helped my baby fall asleep faster. The buttons are very intuitive and simple. It has a power button with a safety start feature that needs to be held down for 3 seconds to turn it on. This is a good way to prevent your baby from accidentally touching it, and I think it is a very necessary design. It's rechargeable, so I don't have to go looking for an outlet. The battery life is pretty good, and I don't need to charge it too often. It also has three vibration levels and I usually choose the lowest setting and my baby falls asleep quickly. It's so much easier than the light patting I used to do, isn't it? The vibrations aren't too loud, but I can still hear them slightly on particularly quiet late nights. It has worked well in the past few weeks, this vibrating mattress is a great product and I'm happy with it.
