I was initially drawn to these baby sock shoes because of their adorable design and the promise of lightweight, breathable comfort for my little one. The variety of styles and colors available is definitely a plus, and they certainly look the part of perfect first walkers.The material is soft and flexible, which I appreciated for my baby's developing feet. They seem comfortable to wear indoors and the breathable fabric is great for preventing sweaty little feet.However, the biggest issue, and the reason for the lowered rating, is that these shoes come off way too easily. Despite the elastic around the ankle, my baby managed to kick them off within minutes, whether they were crawling, standing, or trying to take a few steps. This frequent removal was frustrating and almost defeats the purpose of a "walking shoe." I found myself constantly putting them back on, which is inconvenient and a bit concerning, especially when out and about.Pros:Cute Design: Attractive and available in various styles.Lightweight and Breathable: Comfortable for little feet, good for indoor wear.Soft and Flexible Material: Allows for natural foot movement.Good Value: Relatively affordable price point.Cons:Comes Off Easily: The biggest drawback, often kicked off by active babies.Not Secure for Active Walking: Not ideal as a reliable walking shoe.Requires Constant Readjustment: Can be frustrating for parents.Overall:These baby sock shoes are visually appealing and provide a comfortable option for indoor wear, especially for lounging. However, the lack of secure fit makes them unreliable as first walking shoes, and the constant need to put them back on is definitely a drawback. I would recommend these more for light crawling and playing rather than for serious attempts at walking. If you're looking for a shoe that will stay on, you might need to consider options with a more secure fastening system.
