I am guessing if you are buying one of these it is to prevent someone from turning up or down the heat well if you are living with someone who uses there brain they can easily figure out that if you use a butter knife or something of similar shape you can slide it right threw the little slits that are on top and bottom of this lock box and turn thst heat up or down. So it completely defeats the purpose of locking it up.East to install and gives the illusion of it being secure.
