It's not too thick and mushy. But it's the perfect amount of soft for how firm it is. Perfect for baby safety and comfort. Easy to clean, cute picture design. The neutral color is very forgiving and I will say it's more durable than I expected. My little beaver son chewed on the corners for a while but it held up and didn't budge. I never go visit anyone's house without this mat

This mat is a good size. Printed design is okay. It seems sturdy. The only concern is that sharper items can puncture the mat.

Good quality and design. Bought as extra padding under a small thick pad. Folds easy and gives us a bit more comfort if we sit inside the play area with our toddler. Wouldn't keep it alone since it's thickness also makes it a bit harder if a child falls on it. Folds easy and can be stored away if needed.

We got this play mat to set up a little play area for our baby and it’s a really good material. The foam is thick and cushioning. The design and print are as pictured. Very comfortable crawling around on it and love that it’s waterproof and easy to clean.

I bought this item for my 8 month old daughter's new play yard 47" by 47" and though it appears large, it's just because I needed a smaller matt. Over all I like the pattern and I bought it because I have hardwood and it seemed like a good deal and it was same day delivery. The down side is that it's a lot thinner than advertised and it has a Styrofoam feel so the durability is in question but time will tell. Hopefully this will hold us through until I can afford a more durable matt.

The thickness of this play mat leaves a lot to be desired. I would be very scared of my 6 mo to fall to his side from a sitting position on this mat. I had thought of putting foam mats underneath but it was made to a specific size for the playpen. I am guessing it would have been easy to clean but definitely wouldn’t but as a play mat that you are expecting to break any falls
