The silicone piece is perfect for washing babies head and even the whole body. The brush is nice and soft for baby and small enough for baby’s head but easily used by adult hands.

I bought this brush to use on a 15 year old dog, who had lost all of her hair and was starting to grow it in again. She needed to be brushed, but very gently. This brush fit the bill. It goes through her fine hair and doesn’t bother her. The little cradle cap fits her head perfectly and help with the all-over bath she needs weekly. She’s just nine pounds of rescue (breed to be determined when the hair comes in), and is blind and deaf, so bathing could be an ordeal. But these items are soft and gentle and don’t seem to bother her at all.

Bristles fall out of the brush but the comb and silicone brush work great. We use silicone for cradle cap since it is soft. Could be slightly bigger but it’s ok.

I've bought a goat bristle hair brush previously with my eldest and decided to repurchase one and opted for this, well I wish I didn't because this one smells like a petting zoo, like an actual goat. While I realize this is actual goat hair like I've said I've had a good experience with a different brand before so I really didn't expect it to smell. It's decent other than that. Maybe I can shampoo it and clean it?
