Admittedly I was sceptical when I first turned this on. But I gave it a try on a warm day on my office chair and I was pleasantly surprised! It keeps a nice cool feeling on my back.I’m going to use this for my dog on hot days when traveling in the car. The shape is really designed for a car seat, but it will work on the floor too.The sound of the fan is fairly quiet, even on high. Just sounds like a soothing white noise machine.

My kid car seat fits well into the device, and our truck has a USB plug-in conveniently located beside the cord. We feel that if she is in her stroller and we are going for a walk outside, she should be able to adjust to the heat just as much as we do. We have not attempted to operate this product using a portable power source, and we probably won't. We just feel that she should be comfy when we're driving, and this product is excellent in such situation. We're rather happy with it.

Used in a stroller with a power source. Didn't feel comfortable adding something under her in the car seat.
