Aside from taking days for mattress to fluff to full dimension, it was true to size. I made a baby cradle to the size of the mattress I ordered.

This matress totally sucks, came folded in half shipped, won't lay flat, huge lump in the middle that won't come out, how's a baby supposed to sleep on that, very thin, total garbage & waste of money. Baby arrived, no matress now.Wouldn't Recommend !!!

UPDATE: Its a mattress. My baby sleeps comfortably on this no issues. Safe.ORIGINAL:My 7 week old has already outgrown her bassinet in length but the delta folding crib came with a horrible mattress.I decided to try this and it does come vacuum sealed but 5 days later it was thick and much more comfortable than the mattress that came with the crib. The pattern is cute and little one has seemed to transition from bassinet to crib with ease. (So far). I use waterproof fitted sheets over it and they fit perfectly. Cleaning it would be an issue as its not waterproof so spit up would indeed be a pain.I knocked off one star because the sheet packed with it says "mattress topper" instead of mattress. Now this is definitely a mattress. Its perfect for the mini crib, but that could be concerning for parents who open the box and see that. I guess we will see if its truly comfortable and will update accordingly.

But first you need to steam it well with an iron to straighten the mattress. A few minutes and it's perfect.

I got 2 of these for our twin grand babies. We made them their own beds and these worked perfectly. Great quality. I recommend this for any play yard or pack n play.
