Perfect for travelling, also just a really good game. Enjoyed it a lot.

This is a great full-sized game. Nice conversion to travel size. Tiles have dimples on bottom to stay in place on game boards. Scoring is done via a slider. Tile board would be great if indent in center was a bit deeper to hold tiles in place. Two of my four game boards have a curve in them, so they don’t lay flat (if playing at a table). Would buy again for a friend.

An amazing game! Me and my brother love playing it, it is extremely simple so also people who don't like board games in general can enjoy. It also has a lot of strategy, and high replay value. It's really fast paced and really light hearted, which is amazing in my opinion.Would highly recommend especially for people looking for a game to play with non board-gamers.

Fun game that can be enjoyed by a variety of groups. I like the mini version so we can take it with us when we travel.

This travel game had a lot of features that made it portable and easy to take on a trip, such as sliding score keepers that stayed in place and things that held the tiles in place so that they do not move easily. Azul is a great and fun game after a learning curve to get used to how to play. The only negative thing about the travel version was that the tiles were only one sided, as opposed to two sided on the full-sized version, but that it probably because one side is hollowed out to fit on the board.

I can’t recommend this enough! We have the original version of the game, so this mini version is perfect for traveling or if you aren’t playing on a flat surface. The boards themselves have indents for the pieces which we found very nice. The scoring part of these boards were also very clever. Sometimes we grab this version out instead of the full size one! Very easy to use and fun! The pieces match the original colors as well. You can learn on this version of the game if you don’t already have the original one.

We recently added the Azul Mini Board Game to our collection, and it's been an absolute hit! We're big fans of the original full-size version, so when we discovered this portable edition, we had to give it a try. It's perfect for on-the-go gaming, especially during our summer boat trips. The game offers the same tile-placement fun and strategic gameplay as its larger counterpart, but in a compact and travel-friendly size. With its smaller footprint, it's easy to pack and take with us wherever we go. While it's great for two players, we love that it can accommodate up to four players, adding versatility to our gaming sessions. Whether we're lounging on the deck or gathered around the table, the Azul Mini Board Game delivers hours of entertainment for both kids and adults alike. Highly recommended for anyone looking for portable gaming fun!

I have the main board game and decided to purchase the travel version too. The game is easy to play, engaging and fun just like the main board game but on a smaller scale. I'm really glad I bought this.

First, i LOVE playing Azul. My husband and i usually try to get a game in at lunch every so often. i wanted a game that i could easily fit in my purse or bag, just to have a game on hand. when i found out Azul had a mini game, i jumped at the chance to get it!!! This is a little bigger than a pocket game, so i'd have to bring a big purse in order to fit everything. When you open it, it comes with 4 play boards that are double sided. They are ready to play on the normal side. if you want to use the more difficult board, you will have to take them out and reseat them. The tiles fit nicely on the board and the built in counters are great. This comes with a plastic piece that you can set your discs in that you put your tiles on. My only issue is that they are loose. the bag only has a snap close on the top, so they could easily fall out. i will be gluing them in the plastic molds. I will also be getting a small drawstring bag for the tiles. You can use the bag that everything comes in, but i feel as though, personally that it is too big and will be cumbersome. Also tedious when putting the game away. When you get the box all of the tiles are in their own plastic bags. if you like that, then it's perfect! It is a great size if you're going to hang out with friends, waiting for a table, traveling. it's easy to take with you just about anywhere. i am really impressed.

Pros- Easy to learn and teach.- Fast to setup and play (less than 30 minutes).- Doesn't require a huge table.- Replayable because of the competition among players and the different scoring paths.- Not multiplayer solitaire. The competition among players makes everyone adapt constantly to make the most out of the current state of the board and always be one step ahead of the opponents. Decisions are divided between best for me or worst for them.- The game design is brilliantly simple! Just like in the games Reef and Century Eastern Wonders, the rules here are so simple yet very strategic and tactical (though more on tactical).- I have the Azul mini version. The design of the tiles and the scores wouldn't slide around even when moved. It is also small and can be easily carried around.Cons- It is confusing that there are 2 types of blue tiles, they could have chosen another color for more clarity such as green. There is a blue tile and there is also a blue tile with a bit of white, making it confusing to describe.- I bought the Azul mini version. The box is trash! It is so hard to get the game and also hard to put it back. It isn't the usual "open the lid" type of box but rather like the cereal boxes.
