Stay on and work well. Just make sure to give them 24 hours to set before wearing

I broke the #1 rule in our house: don't leave dog treats in your jacket pocket and then leave your jacket draped over a chair. In any case, this patch seems to have done the trick for a fairly significant hole on the inside of the pocket. This is strictly iron-on (not a self-stick peel-backing type), with one side coated with some presumably low-melting-point adhesive. Just cut to size and then iron in place. I set my iron on "nylon", and it had no trouble melting whatever makes this stick while not melting the nylon in my jacket. Time will tell if it survives washes.I used two pieces, one on the inside facing out, and one on the outside facing in, so the area of the jacket behind the hole wouldn't stick to the outside patch.

Doesn’t work, tried with iron (low heat then increased a little after first didn’t work) also tried hair dryer. Would roll up away from the clothing trying to adhere to. Cut into rounded shape as recommended. There was no backing to remove. With heat adhesive was slightly sticky, but barely. Don’t waste your money

My son somehow ripped his favorite almost new, nylon material Pacsun pants. As you can see in the pic, it’s a huge hole! I looked up nylon repair and found this item and nylon repair iron on patches. Since the hole was so large, I used both for extra reinforcement. The color of the sticky side of this tape is neon colored and it showed through the hole on the front of the pants. The iron on patch I got separately matched perfectly, so I used it first so that it would be the color showing, if any. The tape would have been fine on its own. It’s extremely durable. I just wanted extra support due to the size of the hole, and to hide the neon. I placed the repair tape on top of the iron on patch. The tape is very soft, so it’s not irritating on the skin. I did a wash and dry test and it held up great! Look how good his pants turned out!

I'm gonna edit this review and give it fewer stars. The patch doesn't work well on clothes, something you wear and wash repeatedly. I've had to go back and replace and repair the patches numerous times. It might work well on something that isn't used as often, but for my boyfriend's work pants, the iron on patch material doesn't hold up over time. It's probably time for new work pants, but he's stubborn, so...🤷♀️😊I used this stuff to patch up the holes on my boyfriend's Truewerk work pants. I've used it both on the inside and outside of the pant legs and they hold up really well. Don't leave sharp corners like the instructions say- they do tend to peel up. Only takes a few seconds with a hot iron and you're finished. I like this stuff and I'll definitely order more.

Used for a tear in my winter jacket. Sticks on nicely, so easy to use, has held up during heavy snow & freezing rain. I even steamed it in my dryer with the highest heat setting and its still stuck on - I did notice some of the glue seeped out a tiny bit after but nothing crazy. Hopefully I don't rip anything else in the future but if/when I do, I'll definitely be buying this again. Perfect for people like me who can't sew for their life!!

Ok, so yes, it's impossible to read the white type directions on the package - poor design in my opinion. However, I did find it works through trial and error. Mind you, I am not using this to fix parachutes or rafts or anything that my life depends on, but I found it covers holes in yoga pants and sweaters nicely if you follow these steps and most of all BE PATIENT. If you rush, you will end up with a stickey adhesion mess.1) Start with your iron on the lowest heat setting2) Cut your patch to cover whatever hole you want to repair. I have used both straight cuts and circular cuts depending on what I want to cover.3) Use on ironing board or use a towel on a hard surface - turn your item inside out so you don't have patches showing (unless you don't care)4) Most important - the PATTERNED SIDE IS UP FACING IRON - the flat side is the adhesion side that should cover the fabric.5) SLOWLY iron on the lowest heat - keep increasing heat slowly until adhesion takes - don't ramp up the heat to the highest or you will have a sticky mess6) Hit the fabric with cool air setting on blow dyer to set it and that's it!Now that I figured it out, I am pleased with the end result. Will it last forever? Probably not, but if I can get a few wash and wears out of it, then I am fine with it. I hope this saves you any frustration. To the MFG - you might want to print directions you put INSIDE the package - just a thought! Carry on people and patch away!

The tape seems good and very durable but is actually pretty thick. Others said it wasn’t though, so I cut off a bit and tested to see how much the glue side melts down. Its definitely way too thick for a tear in the delicate nylon/polyester on puffer down jackets if you are trying to mend something invisibly. I got the dark green, and the glue side is a much lighter yellow green fyi. Four stars because I’m sure it’s great and the quality seems fine but it wasn’t suitable for me. If you’re looking for something similar to my needs, I ended up just finding a very thin piece of polyester scrap and placing it inside the tear, then using thin double sided hemming glue tape to gently fuse them together. It worked great. It’s not a high traffic area that torn, it’s just very visible, so just lining up the fabric at the tear and gluing it from the inside worked.
