You don't get a light source. All you get is thin plastic strands. Almost purchased, I just want to make sure that this is clear to everyone else

I got this for my diy Christmas gift for my boyfriend. I made him an infinity mirror shaped like a pixel jelly and used the fiber optics as the tentacles underneath! Funny enough it was actually cheaper to get the longer strand since it came with prime shipping unlike the smaller strand which wanted $28 for shipping. But oh well, now I have so much extra to use for more projects! I trimmed and glued the strands to an led strip and it worked wonderfully. I do wish there was a more prominent sparkle along the strands since that is what it is suppose to have, but this could also be due to my connection to and led strip light source over a light engine (although many of the strands are pretty bright at the ends)
