For a tactical belt for kit it’s great. Excellent material for inner and outer belt. Don’t know about the rating for cobra buckle or D ring. I snap my 110lbs. XL bully dog to the D ring and it holds him. I don’t know if I would use it to strap myself in a helicopter or emergency rappel.
