First off its good size and provides a good amount of shade. The crank open and close is nice but kind of a p.i.t.a at the same time. Getting it to open amd close you are in your way for the first bit of opening and last bit of closing. The connection between poles is kind of weak and will need some help via duct tape bit other than that it's a great deal

I like this 9FT Large Outdoor Patio Umbrella. Patio umbrellas do not seem to last long in the AZ desert. The sun beats them up and the wind takes care of the rest. That said, this 9FT Large Outdoor Patio Umbrella seems well built. The crank works smoothly and there is a conveniently attached pin to keep the umbrella from closing on its own.There is a convenient tie (with Velcro connectors) for when the umbrella is down. When up, the umbrella can also be tilted to adjust the shade for earlier in the day or later in the evening. The materials feel like they are of good quality. Hopefully this 9FT Large Outdoor Patio Umbrella will last multiple summers in AZ!

We made the mistake of not closing up our previous patio table umbrella before we were hit with a windstorm, and once it took to the air, it was completely ruined. I ran across this umbrella while looking for replacements, and it's worked perfectly as a replacement for us. It fits well, and it's quite sturdy. Not that I would try to leave it out during a storm or anything, but I'm really happy with its quality.

Well made, good quality fabric and good flexible fiberglass ribs.Easy to crank open and close. It is wind proof. The fiberglass ribs flex, and wind is released from the double top, it works well. The fabric feels strong and gives you a good shade.Easy to put together. Easy to tilt. No base is included, clearly stated in the description.An overall good quality, effective umbrella that should last few years, as most only last few, depending on your location.

This umbrella is exactly what we were looking for. It’s great quality and so attractive. It was easy to set up, and it looks so good in our yard. We’re all so happy with it. It is a really good value at his price point, too.

I have been enjoying this umbrella on my patio. It opens wide and provide so much shade. My patio isn't big, so this is the perfect size. It opens easily with no problems and closes with a breeze.

The umbrella looks well made and opens and closes as it should, with ease. The spines on this are a nylon plastic material which I have not had before. Another umbrella I got with aluminum spines was badly bent after get blown over by the wind only once, went straight to the trash. Hoping this one will have some flex when that happens again... we'll see. The price on this unit is comparable to all the other similar umbrellas out there. Everything is up to par as of yet with this patio umbrella.

This is a nice, durable patio umbrella. The mechanism opens smoothly and hold the fabric tightly open. The ribs are fairly sturdy and don't seem likely to fail in average wind. Of course it's always wise to close up any umbrella when it's windy. The fabric is thick enough. So far the only drawback is that the beige color seems a little dull - it could be a richer shade. For those who don't object to that, it's a fine choice.
