There's plenty of bats within the $100 price range, this is one of the better choices. It's a well balanced bat with an axe handle for better control. My son thinks it has better pop than his $200 composite bat (not much better but he feels a difference). He will use this bat for cage work and practice but will continue to use his composite bat for games. The reason for this, his composite is slightly smaller and lighter.

My son had grown out of his previous bat and so we ordered another. This is perfect. It’s a drop -11 so it’s lighter for him to swing. It’s a USA and that qualifies it for All-Stars U10. We used this great bat for rookie season. The weight is ideal for littles ages 5-9. It lasted an entire season with minimal wear and tear, so I’d give it a 5 for durability! The bay was truly perfect for swinging and was perfectly made for children.

Both my boys while a little small for the length of the bat has no issues using it. This replaced a cheap bat and the difference is incredible. It's definitely more the lighter weight but overall a great bat for coach pitch (U8)
