As others have mentioned before, this pouch does smell. Something of a plastic/vinyl smell. The leather has a plastic-like top coat and is probably the source of this smell. Good build quality, thin leather, you get what you pay for, no more.

Very good replacement for my old Craftsman pouch. Actually an exact match. Leather is decent, not top quality, but for the price, it's more than good enough.

A very well made tool pouch. I definitely like the outside pouch design that closes to keep nails and such from falling out. Seems like quality leather. Should last quite a while for a DIYer like me. Highly recommended!

日本の革の腰袋のようにケモノ臭くないです。野球のグローブのような匂いがします。銀面が内側を向いてるのと、ポケットの底に縫い目がないので細かいビスが取りやすいです。ハンマーループが革なので屋内作業でも壁や床を傷つけにくいです。ただ、ループが大きすぎてかなり大きなハンマーじゃないと落ちます。自分はループを切って重ねてリベットで止め直して小さくしました。300グラムの玄能でもなんとか保持できるよう加工しました。その辺じゃ売ってないので現場でカブることはないでしょう。

They just don't make leather bags like they used to. Just not completely happy with them. The leather feels cheap and just not the quality I was expecting.
