This is made very cheap, but the price is very cheap. One of the batteries still charges. I still use it. I will step it up when I buy another one.

It’s not a Milwaukee but the next best thing. Worked great, battery is stronger than I thought it would be. Size is good not to big.

I purchased this Avid Power 3/8 Cordless Ratchet because of the great performance and reliability of their 20v cordless 1/4 impact driver. Both tools get used daily, the battery performance of the ratchet has been really disappointing by comparison to the impact driver. These tools are generally kept in my truck for field work. I was surprised at how much the cold affects the ratchet compared to the impact batteries. After swapping several batteries, I discovered the battery gauge on the tool shows red under load even on a fresh battery. While the ratchet is 12v versus the 20v impact; the batteries are both rated for 2 amp hours. For example, the ratchet will last 45 minutes to an hour removing 15 to 20 bolts ranging in size from 10mm, 12mm, 14mm. The impact driver will go almost three hours running 150 to 200, 3 inch deck screws. The batteries on the ratchet have a decent charge rate. There is a 50% chance the battery in the charger will be ready when the battery in the tool runs out of power. In temperatures below 40° (F) expect the batteries to have less torque and duration. For mechanical performance, it's great for removing screws or bolts; after they are broken free. Running the same bolts back in, it is not a bad idea to make sure the bolt is tight enough or torqued to spec if appropriate. The ratchet head is small enough to get into some pretty tight spaces.Overall, it is a good budget friendly or entry level cordless ratchet. If the batteries had a little more power or stamina this could be a competitive tool in comparison to the big names out there.Psst… if you’re reading this, then we both use and maybe even rely on reviews to be smart with our money and time, right? Since I rely on reviews too, when I write one (and I write a lot of them) it’s based on real product usage and or testing. Regardless if I purchase the product like this cordless ratchet or if it is received as part of a promotion; my personal reviews are honest, unbiased with NBS.

I've been doing a lot of work on my 2004 Trailblazer due to having to do an engine swap. This cordless ratchet has worked extremely well and has saved quite a bit of time and effort. The battery life has been amazing. The non powered ratchet function has worked quite well for breaking bolts loose and then the powered function has made removals much faster. Removal torque has been satisfactory and install torque seems to bottom out around 12-15 ft lbs. About what I expected from it. The sockets and adapter that are included aren't of the highest quality. They are shiny but fitment isn't great although they have worked ok the few times I used them rather than pulling out my better sets. I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the tool itself and highly recommend it. The size is good for getting into areas my impact wrenches won't fit into and the handle fits my hands quite comfortably. The case is adequate for storage and the latches are nicely made. Overall it's a good kit.

Its definitely not a snap-on or has anywhere near the power of my snap-on 1/4" drive electric ratchet but it does work and it will run nuts and bolts down, but not tighten them very much and to be honest I've been hesitant on tightening stuff with it, switching to my standard ratchet.Has a good feel, speed control is good, and is well balanced. Battery lasts decent and the included spare battery is great to have, I've never killed one before the other was charged. For the average homeowner, car enthusiasts it's a pretty decent deal, however being a pro, using it daily we'll see how long it hold up or I get tired of babying it and bust out the $350 for a new snap-on one.

PROS:1. Surprisingly sturdy. You don't have to baby it.2. More torque than I expected but it won't break any bolts tightened 25+ Ft/Lbs.3. The lever-style trigger makes it easy to control the RPM.4. The battery charged from near empty to full in about 40 minutes. Pretty good.5. It comes with 2 batteries.CONS:1. The battery hardly lasts 20 minutes if you work on tighter and or larger bolts.2. LED light is too weak. You still need a proper headlight if you're working on engines. An electric ratchet is a great tool to have in your arsenal as long as you use it as intended. It won't break any stubborn bolts nor will it tighten with any meaningful force. But that's the whole point though. You always want to tighten bolts manually by feeling the resistance or use a torque wrench when the job requires it.Changing brake pads on my car with this tool made the job a breeze. I loosened the lug nuts with a breaker bar, then used this ratchet to take the nuts off completely. I put the lug nuts back on with this as well since it doesn't have the power to over-torque the nuts. It saved me from all-day wrist pain.Get this if you work a lot on your car and also do repairs around the house yourself. It'll save you a ton of time and pain.
