These are trash. As soon as I pressed the plunger to pressurize the line (not even very hard), the tube shot out of the end of the syringe and sprayed toxic DOT fluid all over my house. After, I made sure to tighten the second plunger thoroughly and use that one but IT failed as well in the same way.I bought these because they were a lot less expensive than the original SRAM ones and, apparently, you get what you pay for.

I've now bled 6 brakes with this kit. Results are better than I get from my local bike shop because with this kit you can use the suction from the syringes to pull all the air out of the brake fluid. All the adapters fit both SRAM and Hope brakes very well. The only issues I had were my own fault, accidentally hitting the brakes with the pads out and dropping out a piston. Watch a video or two specific to your brakes before attempting to bleed them for the first time!

To get the air out of the brake fluid you have to pull a vacuum on the fluid. To do that you need good syringes that don’t leak air into them past the rubber plunger seal. These did the trick.

I thought I'd take a chance on this inexpensive kit and to my surprise the quality and functionality is terrific! I've used brake bleed kits where the syringes were SO stiff you could hardly get the fluid to flow back and forth between them (like SRAM requires) making it a real pain in the butt to bleed the brakes.My only minor complaint would be the red triangular shaped "nut" that slides onto the SRAM bleed nipple and is used to open/close the bleed port; when you attempt to push the nipple into the port and snap the needle into place the triangle simply pushes down (towards the caliper) and off the nipple, making it entirely useless. I ended up taking the assembly apart and sliding the triangle onto the nipple from the opposite end, thus making insertion much easier and withdrawal from the port a pain (but I prefer it that way). I hope that makes sense, and if you purchase one of these kits to use with SRAM brakes you'll quickly see what I mean.Overall, a terrific value I'd recommend to anyone needing a versatile brake bleed kit.One last note: if you're working with SRAM brakes buy Prestone DOT 5.1 brake fluid from any auto parts retailer, it will save you a BUNCH of $$$$'s over what you find when searching for "SRAM Fluid", which is exactly the same.

Bleed block didn't fit my SRAM DB-LVL-A1 caliper so I returned the kit. The company contacted me and advised that their kit did fit my SRAM model and I asked them to send me pics in case I did something wrong. They sent me pics of other calipers but not mine. Two months later they finally sent pics of their bleed block seated in a DB-LVL-A1 caliper so either I did something wrong or they added a compatible block.

Good value. Does the job and will reusable.I followed the steps as per bleed procedure after writing them down in the proper sequence on a sheet of paper. Got it the first time perfect both on the rear and front systems. Go slow.All gear is reusable probably several times. Washed them with solvent right after use.
