I have these attached to my extinguishers both inside and outside of my house (I'm a safety professional by trade so I have lots of extinguishers that I maintain personally). I was looking for some basic tags that would withstand the outdoor elements and these fit the bill perfectly. Of course they work well inside too. And they work best with a sharpie marker or some similar marker. A regular ballpoint pen doesn't show up very well (at least the one I was using). I definitely recommend these if you're a safety nerd like me and inspect your fire extinguishers on a routine basis. Especially if you have extinguishers mounted outside. I have two outside - one on my deck and one in the vicinity of my barbecue grill. They work great!

Even though we aren’t running a professional business or have to deal with OSHA, I’ll attempt to explain why these five-star super-tough waterproof plastic “Inspection Record” tags are so useful in our household and all over our homestead in this review.Typical: winter is coming, so around September we draw up a very lengthily list (normally about 50 items) of tasks to complete that’s posted next to our front door. Before going out we check the list, select something to complete in addition to finishing daily routine chores, then run out and get things done. Problem: since we don’t hold conference committees each morning nor take notes for the record, quite often we’ll duplicate the same tasks twice without knowing it. The beauty of these inspection record tags: now as we remember the massive lists of tasks to be completed (i.e., check water trough #34 for leaks or damage; inspect poultry cabin B3 inside and out for any needed repairs; check each section of paddock D; check basement windows re: caulking/insulation; etc. etc. etc.) we’ll just tag each location / completed task after noting with a Sharpie marker the initials of the person who thoroughly checked the item or feature over here.These are a big winner for our needs, I certainly recommend them!

It’s not oil resistant. It smudges if you use gel pen and left handed. Otherwise, if it’s just a bit of coolant then it works fine. Some of the older men have a larger handwriting font so they can’t stay within the lines. It attaches like any other label. It does what we need it to do which is just to draw the eyes to it.

Prior to last week, we just used an in-house solution for ladder inspection, which was disorganized and expensive (as we had to print them on industrial-strength paper). Naturally, I decided to find a solution that was inexpensive and did the job. I've used Avery office products before and had good success with them, so I decided to buy these.One of these ~$7-ish packs is enough to last us a couple days, which is better than the hassle and cost that our in-house solution brought upon. They are laminated paper, so they are waterproof while being easy to write on. Recommended for anyone who needs a cheap solution for ladder-inspection-related issues.

I am the manager of engineering at a factory, I got this set to replace old tags, and have extras around. These are just as good as anything that you would buy from a electrical or industrial supply house. You can write on them with dry, erase markers and it wipes right off, leaving no trace, a sharpie will be permanent. The tags are of good construction, not affected by humidity or moisture, and do exactly what they’re intended to do. I’m very pleased with the set, will be ordering more and I recommend these if your in need.

I got these tags by mistake. However, I decided to keep them because they actually are two-sided and will be used for my body contouring clients to keep track of their waist measurements.

I'm a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and I've been an Environmental Health & Safety Manager in manufacturing for 28 years. These lockout/tagout tags are sturdy! I feel confident they won't fall off, and they are waterproof. Easy to write on with a sharpie marker. Good size for visibility. Plenty of room to write information. My employees really like them.
