I really like these labels and made sure to purchase three packs when I ordered so I don’t run out. They work great for organizing supplies, labeling containers, and categorizing books/magazines. Their kraft background is a plus for me (no boring white) and I LOVE the scalloped design that gives them that extra punch or class. Would recommend to everyone and anyone.

Mod 40151.

Wasn't sure I wanted this style for my products but this sample convinced me for a larger order

My sister-in-law and I made homemade vanilla for family members at Christmas time. We wanted a label that looked "tea stained", but didn't want to take the time to make them ourselves. These were the perfect size for the 5 oz bottles we made! And they're easily removable! I use them on a couple glass jars to store sugar and flour for quick use. I switched jars and the label switched so easily.

I just got the labels and was keen to print some up, so I headed on over to the Avery website for a "Free Template." Ha ha, yeah, free my eye.You can't download an Avery label template without giving them your name and email address. There was an option to set up a free account, ostensibly so you could save templates and/or use them on the Avery website, and it even had an option to "download as guest" -- but it still prompts you for contact information. And there is no workaround for this.Honestly, I'm fed up with having to give everyone my contact information. "Free" should mean "no strings attached." You are either offering the templates for your products or not; stop making paying customers dance to your tune.If you buy these labels, be prepared to write on them or give up your privacy and spend time sifting through and deleting unwanted email. Yes, I know I can flag it as spam and have my email client program send it right to the trash, but that's not really the point, is it? If you're a "guest" then why do you have to give them your contact information?Okay, rant about privacy aside, the labels look fine and seem to peel off fine, but I haven't had them stuck on anything for very long. There is enough paper along the margins to each side of the die-cut label that you can try out Sharpies, gel pens, or other media to see how well it works with the paper stock before you commit to using one of the labels. Cost-wise, you get six sheets of four labels each, so that works out to about 16 cents per label. The labels are centered on a 4" x 6" paper stock, so if you have Word or InDesign you should be able to create your own label by setting your page size to 4x6 and then setting your page margins and adjusting your font size and leading. Good luck!

These labels worked perfectly! We gave out pint glasses as wedding favors with the intent of people using them at the reception instead of plastic cups. We were worried that people would get their glasses mixed up and wanted a way for our guests to label their glasses without it rubbing off or ruining the glass. These labels were the perfect solution! They stuck on through the night but peeled off easily when it was time to wash the glasses. We even left some of them on for several weeks and they still peeled off smoothly and in one piece.I'm not sure why some of the reviews said these labels either didn't peel off or wouldn't stick. We didn't have that problem at all! Maybe it depends on the surface of whatever you're sticking them on, but they stick to and peel off of glass with little effort.

I do a good amount as canning and give many away as gifts, so I want nice labels for the jars. These have a lot going them: perfect size for top on lids or on the glass for those jars that have the little flat oval space; vintage style and kraft color are well-suited for my kitchen and the style of gift sets I make; good quality materials. I hand-print my labels using a Sharpie, but I have seen them printed using the downloadable template and that looks and works well. These are the best kraft-style labels I have found, and after buying them at a local box store only to never find them again when I wanted to restock, I was happy to find them on Amazon. My only complaint is that I think the price it too high for the quantity of labels. Overall, a versatile, attractive label for canning and other household applications.

I am using these labels for my line of skin care products. I love the shape!! Make sure your surface is clean and dry before applying though, or they will not adhere well. I had a small amount of a powdery substance on the outside of my jars & had a slight problem with this. A little dab of Avery Permanent Glue Stic fixed them right up though. Live and learn... Too bad they don't have this shape in a Permanent Label (as opposed to Removable). Hmm... Maybe they do. I'll have to look. I will definitely order this product again.
