It seems at times like paper and binders are becoming things of the past, but they still have a time and place. This is a good statement size paper binder. The rings close solidly. I could probably get close to 200 sheets in it if needed.

I purchased this item to store the teaching notes shared weekly at church. For the price paid, it is functional as well as professional looking. My concern is the item’s durability. I can see how the top cover fold could split off from the spine with much use.

This is just the right size for the black card stock that I am hole punching to start my own book for my colored pencils. I like that the one side lays flat. I have a lot more card stock to hole punch & will be ordering another one.

I purchased these to be used with my planner. They function admirably, although I do wish they came in a 3-inch notebook size. The majority of my planners fit that size.

I bought this because I wanted to put my Programmes (Canadian/every country except the U.S. Playbill equivalent, I guess) in it . I had an official Playbill binder, which the Programmes fit in perfectly, but the sleeves that came with it were very stiff on the rings, so the pages were hard to flip through.The official Playbill sleeves also fit in this binder perfectly and they actually flip fluidly, like they're suppose to. I'm very happy with it overall, it's cheaper than a Playbill binder too, which is great.

[UPDATE Jan 2016 -- four years later:]I'm back for another one of these for LEGO instruction booklets. I filled the first one up with 30 pages of "Avery Mini Heavyweight Sheet Protectors, 5.5 x 8.5 Inches", some of which are holding two instruction booklets. This fills the binder so that the covers are about parallel.The binder has held up very well for four years, with frequent use by my children. Although a commenter to this review has had less luck, and my children are probably somewhat less rough on things than most, I'm quite happy with the durability we've experienced.[ORIGINAL REVIEW from January 16, 2012:]- outer dimensions: 9 1/8" high by 8 1/4" deep by 3 1/16" thick, oriented as on a bookshelf- chrome 2" rings, mounted on the back cover (hurray!)- front cover pocket could hold a sheet 7 7/8" by 9"- back cover pocket could hold a sheet about 6 5/8" by 9"- possibly useful: a 2 5/8" wide pocket on the inside of the spine- a thoughtfully designed label holder on the outside of the spine: thumb cutouts make it easy to insert/remove the label, and the back of a business card can be used- black, textured vinyl (I assume) seems good qualityI'm very pleased with this binder. I don't expect anything on it to fail prematurely, but if it does, I will certainly edit this review. We are using it to hold LEGO instruction booklets, so it will get a lot of use/abuse from my 6 and 10 year olds. The are great for use with this binder and the common LEGO Company instruction size of just under 5" by 8".
