The 3 ring binder holes are reinforced on both sides of the heavyweight sheet to prevent tearing. Was looking for a no frills, easy to clean. colorful notebook divider when I found this one. For the money this is hands down the best bang for your buck. Perfect for school, work or just to stay organized.

I'm old school, and because (in the past) I've lost electronic archives of newsletters a publish due to computer crashes I keep paper archives as backup. These need to be indexed by month for convenience, so these are perfect.

I've tried for a paperless office, but there are things that need to be filed and I find binders much more efficient than file folders. These Avery dividers are an annual purchase for me to use to file my bank statements. I also thought the price was quite reasonable compared what I usually pay at Staples. I used to re-use the dividers, year after year, but at this price I can keep past years divided and just buy new ones. I also purchase Avery's numbered dividers on a regular basis and rely on them for lots of reference organizing. I just make an index in the front and number the contents 1-31. All in all, my office could be a commercial for Avery binder dividers. They are a big help to me and the bright colors are good for my visual cues/awareness to find things. Please don't ever stop carrying these products!
