I have used Avery products and their design & print website for many years. When I wanted to print tags for wedding favors I went straight to Avery options. I liked the gold color of these although I thought they were somewhat pricey for only 40 tags. I created my design but the pdf never quite matched up to the customization preview. I’m no novice so I printed in plain paper several times trying to get it perfect, then I printed one tag. It seemed great so I printed the others. One side of four tags printed perfectly but the other four were off. I had to print the remainder four at a time and then flip the page and print the other four to get things lined up right, so essentially 10% of the tags were ruined and I only got 36. The size of the tags was good and the thickness was a good quality. I didn’t use the strings because I tied them with ribbon but on gold edged tags I would’ve expected better than cheap white string. I just wish they had all worked well and I got all that I paid for.

I used these to make tags for treat bags for a birthday party. The Avery website was easy to navigate and made easy work of designing the tags. I printed on both sides. The only thing I couldn’t figure out was how to center the design on the printed tag a little better. It’s barely off center but was noticeable to me. It is probably how my printer pulled them through. They still came out really cute and I used them happily. I have an inkjet printer and it worked well. The print did not smear. The thickness is like a thick card stock. Good value for the product. I love that they came with strings that snap together. Made it so easy to attach to the gift bags I used.

I very much like these tags, great for do-it-yourself party favors!The only complaint is that the Avery template is pretty small, only allowing printing on about 50% of the tag. It could have had a bigger print area.

The one thing I haven't mastered about adulthood is maintaining a home printer a printer that does what I want, when I want so I only have a cheap-ish ink jet printer. I was super worried this was going to be a disaster, but they definitely designed these things to feed accurately and print well. Using their web design tool was easy and fast and the blank template was completely customizable. They were very easy to pull apart neatly as well which surprised me since they were so sturdy and stayed together so well in the printer. I will definitely be using these again. I had zero waste bc the product was well labeled and easy to use.

I bought this template to make tags for wedding favors for my daughter's wedding. I initially used Word and created the document using the Avery template 22848. In fact, I created it before the tags arrived so I was ready to print when I got them. Unfortunately, not only did they print incorrectly, they were not aligned properly. As you can see in the second photo, I had to turn the page around to try and print the right way. Even though it printed the right way, the text was too high as the template in Word is simply a rectangle and you can't tell where it's scalloped, plus the whole template was a bit too far to the left. So I had to go to Avery's website and use their template to create it all over again. Using their template was much better because you can see the shape of the tag and you can tell where the text will print. It also has all kinds of cute designs to choose from, but the fonts were limited. Overall, once it was time to print, they came out within the lines and properly aligned. Separating the tags is a little tedious and time consuming, but I'm happy with the final product. I haven't attempted to put the strings through the holes yet, but hopefully that won't be too difficult.

The perforation was in the wrong place making the labels lop-sided (right). Not a very neat tear either. Could not use them and had to return them.

When I bought these tags, I should have paid more attention to the size. They are a little small, but very cute. The Avery website makes designing the tags really easy. Next time, I’ll order bigger tags.

We used these to print out custom tags for gift bags at my daughter’s wedding. Along with the free online software, it was relatively easy to get a custom look that went well with the professionally printed invitations for the wedding itself.
