They are described as having a "smoky" sound, but are very responsive and able to generate a vast array of articulation and colors. The K Lights feature larger and smaller K style hammer marks, and smooth K Zildjian lathing customary found in other K Zildjians. Coming in at thin to medium-thin despite their name, they are crashable but also provide full, clear stick definition. The 24" model has a slightly smaller bell to retain a solid stick sound.

Buying cymbals unseen and unheard is a lottery as no two cymbals sound the same. But I took the risk, as it could be easily returned, and got lucky! Having done some research, this particular cymbal has the sound I was looking for. Nice clear stick definition on top but with a typical K dark, warm wash. It can be played loud but the crash decays quite quickly. It can also be played very quietly whilst keeping the stick clarity. It works with both a piano trio and a country rock band that I play with. Very pleased with this K Light Ride.

La campaña suena excelente, el sonido es suave y crasheable, me parece que es más para jazz, no me convence para rock, aún así la calidad es excelente

This cymbal will give you the crack of a lifetime! Although a bit pricey it is well worth the investment. The tin sound gives you the light ride feel and the crack gives a........more of a crash ride feel. Overall this is a great product!

Perfecta definición de ping. Estupendo para jazz. Eso sí, hay que controlarlo, que es un gran plato y se crece.

Went through many ride cymbals and this is my favorite. I play mostly folk, jazz, and lighter music, but what I like about this is it is versatile for louder music I sometimes play.

At over 2500g, it isn't the lightest light ride(weighs in the medium category for it's weight) however, it has a nice low pitch with a controlled wash with a very nice woody stick definition as well as a nice crash. I was hoping for a lighter weight as to be a bit more washy, however this is a fine ride.

The cymbal is exactly what I expected and wanted, but the packaging was horrible! It basically came loose in a big rectangle box with no cushioning or stabilizing. Pretty ridiculous considering it's a $400 cymbal. No damage luckily

There's really only one word to describe this cymbal and that is: Epic. Sounds great for pretty much any style of music I am playing, and really fast delivery.

it's perfect. super light crisp sound for jazz or some light crashing. i wish it had a bigger bell for help with some latin patterns but this is still a great cymbal.

We ordered this cymbal as a birthday gift for our son (he had done the research), and he was not at all disappointed. The quality is excellent, it was shipped in a timely fashion, and in perfect condition.
