I bought this to split the HDMI signal from my home theatre PC. It now feeds the 85 inch theatre TV and the 55 inch rumpus TV simultaneously. The picture and audio on both is perfect. This was a great buy. :)

I bought this to have one side feed to aa local display for my security cameras and the side connect to a HDMI over Ethernet encoder. The Ethernet decoder sees a 4K signal, so all seems well. Not sure if the "power" light is supposed to be "red" and stay "red"?

Got it today. Cool - it works without an external power supply. 1 HDMI cable from Security Camera DVR to splitter; one to my big TV and one to my small monitor above my Desktop computer. I am guessing my 1st splitter (another brand) died due to an electrical surge even though it was plugged into a surge protector or it just died - who knows. Thanks - it is always great to get a product that works as specified especially for me who is not a Geek.

There are a few reasons for using a HDMI splitter but personally I picked up this splitter to use with a capture device. I have an array of "consoles throughout the ages" that I like to keep set up (because I am old and sad probably...) and occasionally make videos on various games. So why use the splitter? Well lag really. Plugging a HDMI source directly into a capture device and trying to play a game via the monitor output normally introduces a few hundred milliseconds of delay. Not great if you are recording Batsugun on the Saturn! This Avedio Links splitter does the job admirably. In the box is the splitter, a USB-A to C power cable and a HDMI lead (would have been nice to have had 3 for a complete set - maybe that could be an option in the future?).I was surprised when I first plugged this in - input device through the splitter to the TV (before adding in the power cable) actually showed an image. Plugging in the second output (to the capture device) and no dice at that point - I had to use the USB power cable at this point.Video output was rock solid and undistinguishable from direct connection. I tried a variety of consoles - however when I got to PS5 - although I was still getting 4K/60 there was no HDMI. I guess that's the trade off.I have tried a couple of Avedio Links HDMI adaptors in the past and they have all been functionally great and well priced. I don't know if they are a manufacturer or just a distributor that sources good products - but for £11.99 I definitely recommend this one.

This avedio Links 4K@60Hz HDMI splitter works well to mirror my laptop screen to both my monitor and a projector. Setup was quite easy - just plug in the HDMI cables and the USB power supply, and it was ready to go. The picture quality on both screens was flawless, maintaining 4K at 60Hz without any lag or signal loss. This was especially useful during my presentations, where the mirrored display allowed me to ensure everything was showing correctly on both the projector and my monitor. The splitter also came in handy for my family's movie nights, letting us watch the same content on the TV in the living room and the projector in the backyard. As a HDMI splitter, it only supports mirroring, not extending displays, which is understandable. The aluminum casing felt durable and sleek, and the included 4 ft HDMI cable was a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a cost-effective solution for anyone needing to duplicate their display across two screens without compromising on quality.

The HDMI cable that came with this splitter would run one device at 60hz but if I had two plugged in it would only support 30hz for two 4k TV's. You will need to buy an extra HDMI cord to go from PC or HDMI device to the splitter itself if you are duplicating 4k displays.

Not really good long term. It needs power kinda. Used it without the power plugged in, it worked fine for a while but started flickering, realized it needed power afterwards, plug power in, still does the same thing... either I broke it because it needed power or this thing is just garbage... kind of dumb it needs a whole usb-c to power it up, not to even power it on since it just powers on either way, just extra wires for no reason.

This splitter is simple but attractive. I used it with a raspberry pi to drive two displays for a scoreboard. Does what it says on the tin, and does so in a more attractive case than most. All I needed was 1080p, so didn't test it with HDCP or higher resolution.

I tried this connection splitting my DVR to iMac using OBS video capture software also my XBox Series X. The connection into the DVR and gaming console seems fine, it's the connections from the output that is posing some oddities.I have the power cord plugged into my DVRs USB input. On my DVR I will get a picture & sound on TV but won't on my iMac...OR a picture with muted or highly distorted sound. I'll finally get both to work if I try removing the one HDMI cable from the splitter and reinserting multiple times it until I finally get video and sound. (I tried a few HDMI cords so this does not seem to be the issue)I have to do these each time. Slightly frustrating but once I do get it working working, it looks great on both TV and computer.

Follow up. After more research, I found that this was not the correct item for me. An HDMI splitter doesn't work for sending an audio signal to a receiver. I needed an HDMI audio extractor. This item did not work for me. I used this on my DirecTV box hoping to split one signal to the TV and the other to my receiver. When I used the splitter, the video feed dropped from 4k to 1080i. The receiver never got the audio signal.
