i had smaller SS utensils for my almost two year old. since getting these ones, she is using her utensils much better. I wasn't sure about the silcone handle, but i like them a lot after seeing how my daughter eats with them now.

Overall, I really like this set. The fork is more pointy than some other baby/toddler forks, so it's a good transition item when learning how to use utensils. My only "meh" about them is the curve. They are pretty curved and you really have to be at the perfect angle when using these, which my 14 month old hasn't quite mastered. Maybe a little flattened out would be better.

I was initially struck by how heavy these are! Thankfully my son is 2.5 and has been using utensils since he was 6 months old (baby led weaning) so he has a pretty good command of them already. These were his first non light weight utensils though. He was very excited to see them as he loves new things and they also looked so grown up compared to his other sets.The handles are easy for him to grip, he had no issues using them. Both the spoon and fork were a great size for shoveling food into his mouthThey are easy to wash as well (and hold up in the dishwasher if that’s your style)The box they come in makes them highly giftable as well.My son was very happy with the utensils and I am happy with them as well.

These are a baby gift for my first, yet-to -be born grandbaby!!!Their bamboo bowls, divided plates, other beginner dinnerware was heavy and received nice positive reviews, I'm sure they will be well appreciated and hold up well.
